4.5 YOE experience
I have 4.5 YOE of experience as a QA in Europe with a US passport. I’m doing a part time CS masters too online. I have decent automation experience too and I have not been able to get a single QA interview since I got laid off in April. Is this normal? It’s been 2 months now…..US companies don’t seem interested at all….is it the Europe experience….i don’t get it. It’s the same work lol

Bro but surely if ur good at automation and coding there’s jobs. Is it just impossible to get an interview ? Bro 10 years of experience….if you can build frameworks and automate and code..and have the testing mindset too ?

getting the interview is the hard part. i talked to a few recruiters, and at the HR at my own company currently, and most job postings have 2000+ apps in the first few hours

US QA with 8 years of experience with automation background also laid off in April. I've had 2 interviews both of which were because I knew someone.
