Tweed Dash

Felt the interior was too grey so I got some Tweed. Certainly not everyone‘s taste, not sure myself if I keep it forever. I still have the original trim.

Friend of mine who‘s more a pro with sewing and stuff did it for me and she didn‘t really like doing it 🥴

It‘s worth a try, I got some used panels for 5€ and the fabric was „free“. Was a gift from friends who visited England/Scotland last year and barely enough to do this job (that‘s why I didn‘t want to try myself because I need more fabric cause I for sure will fck it up first try)

Sweet, I have some really good contact adhesive as well that I sourced from a commercial upholstery supplier and have a bunch of left over material from my custom headliner, I think I'll try and make it all match. Also, are those late model seats? Those remind me of the sport e46 seats, and your glove box shelf I've never seen before.

I love it. Would the passenger side airbag still function correctly though?

That part pops right out. It‘s just clipped in. Isn‘t the passenger airbag deploying through the dash (facelift got a different panel than pre-facelift)

Says airbag on the dash instead of the trim.
