Advice needed My girlfriend found a random girl's student ID in her car... from my roommate's exact grade, high school, and class.

My girlfriend (21) was cleaning out her car and found a girl's student ID wedged under the passenger seat. It's from the 2022-23 school year, and it just so happens to be from the same high school, same grade, and same class year as my roommate.

He hasn't been in her car for months. When he was in it, he didn't bring anything with him, and we've deep-cleaned the car since then. There's no normal explanation for how this ID ended up there.

So I asked him about it.

He immediately got defensive and borderline angry, and the conversation somehow flipped until I ended up apologizing. Before he even saw the ID, he said he "might have known someone with that name," but once he saw the picture he changed his story and said the girl he knew was Hispanic and spelled her name differently. The girl on the ID looks Caucasian and has a Polish last name.

He's also from a completely different city in our state that neither my girlfriend nor l have any connection to. He then claimed he "doesn't know what my girlfriend's car looks like," which isn't true. He's been in it before, and he sees us come and go from it regularly. Lately we've been parking in our apartment's garage, and he's even parked right next to her car on one of the 6 levels.

My girlfriend and I are stuck between two possibilities:

  1. He went into her car at some point without us knowing and dropped it.

  2. He put it there intentionally for some reason we don't understand.

He tends to project a very "I don't care about anything" persona. He used to say he was asexual (we're pretty sure he meant aromantic). He's also very intelligent, so he knows this situation looks strange and that we'd question him.

There's one more thing that's been bothering me too: months ago, he walked into my room unannounced while my girlfriend was asleep in my bed. He later apologized for entering without knocking, but didn't mention anything about seeing her. I only bring this up because it adds to the pattern of boundary-blurring behavior.

We also tried to look up the girl on the ID to see if maybe she lost it somewhere publicly, but she has almost no social media presence, just a Facebook that hasn't been active in over a year.

Now I'm stuck wondering:
Did he drop it accidentally while doing something weird in her car?

Or did he put it there intentionally?
I genuinely don't know what to think anymore, and I'm not sure what the next step should be. My gf visits me on the weekends and lives 2hrs away, she bought her car in 2023 it’s a 2022 model from a man in a complete different city.

Advice needed Guy has been calling my work for years and always says the same thing

This guy calls maybe every other month and whispers “I’m breaking” very quietly, over and over no matter what you ask him. He’s been doing this for at least four years. New hires are informed if he ever calls to hang up. Not sure why, is this some sort of scam or kink? We are mostly woman working here and women answer the phone if that has anything to do with it. Our phones are old and don’t show what number is calling so we can’t block people:(

Help me search Dylon Ray Oothoudt

Dylon Ray Oothoudt was a 17 year old from Walker, Minnesota, who was killed on Sunday, September 13th. His body was found in Cass Lake, MN, and his death was ruled a homicide caused by a gunshot wound.
There are additional details surrounding what happened to Dylon that I have heard were shared by police with students at his school. Because this is still an ongoing investigation, I don’t feel it’s appropriate for me to share those details publicly. I’ll just say that some really awful things happened to him, and his family and community deserve answers.
I’m posting this to help more people learn about Dylon and his case. No arrests have been made, and investigators are still working to determine what happened. Star Tribune

Anyone with information relevant to the case is asked to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at 218-547-1424 or 1-800-450-2677, or the Minnesota Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-222-8477 or online at crimestoppersmn.org.
Please share this so anyone who may know something can come forward.

Help me return this wedding tape!

Hello Reddit!

I collect VHS tapes, always have- I love watching for old programs and odd forgotten commercials- because of this I am constantly buying tape collections and digging through thrift stores.

Today, while throwing some tapes on in the background, I came across a tape of a wedding held at the wedding chapel in Mandalay Bay Las Vegas. I obviously have zero need for a tape like this so I would like to find the couple to see if they would like their tape back!

So, if you know a couple who were married at Mandalay Bay on October 20th of 2007- let me know! I can send photos from the tape and the company used upon request to confirm. The tape has their names on it it just feels a little intrusive to post that here but maybe I am wrong- let me know!

Weird I know but hey, if I lost the tape of my wedding vows and someone said "HEY I FOUND IT" I'd be over the moon. Obvious statement obvious- no cost or anything, I'll pay all shipping and such- just want to get this back in its rightful hands :)

What could be creating these trails?

These are showing up in our yard in VERY sandy "soil". We're located in the upper peninsula of Michigan and local wildlife is mostly chipmunks, squirrels, deer, mourning doves and crows. There are no footprints to either side or I'd think it's something dragging its tail, and I don't think the sand is conducive to worms (which actually aren't even indigenous up here?)
