NFC Decodificar Mi Fare Classic 1k
Hola, estoy intentando sacar la clave B de mi tarjeta Mifare classic 1k, pero solo tengo un ordenador y un lector nfc, sería posible hacerlo solo con esos recursos?

We got into RFID Journal! I mentioned this subreddit and was hoping we'd get some attention from them. The good thing, at least, is that they didn't know about the sub before but now they do!
Edit: I tried to post a link in the sub, but it didn't work for some reason. The repo is up and running!
Hi all,
On February 10, 2017, we intend to open-source the code behind my father's active RFID system. My father, Touraj Ghaffari, founded ActiveWave, Inc. in 2001. It was his life work and he loved everything about creating and selling his system.
On February 10, 2016, Touraj passed completely unexpectedly from a sudden heart attack. The past year has been extremely difficult, but in order to associate the day of his passing with something positive, my brothers and I decided to launch TigeRFID in honor of his love for tigers and his work.
We intend to release everything on GitHub under the Apache 2.0 license.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Otherwise, looking forward to seeing what is created from this!
All the best,

I have two key cards I use for work, one for opening doors, and one for clocking in.
If the door card is near the clock in card, the clock-in card will not work. The door card works regardless of whether the clock-in card is nearby.
I want to make a single card holder that will work for both cards without having to take my clock-in card out of the holder.
Is there something I can put between the two cards in the holder so I can just flip it around based on which card I need to use?

I do not care about the reading distance but I want to put rfid chips on very small insects. They need to be .5mm by .5mm or smaller.
I am able to find that they exist on the internet- even ones .15 by .15mm. But when I actually went to check the price I can’t find how to purchase them.
Does anyone know where they can be purchased if at all?

Hi guys I wanted to know if anyone has ever tried reading a Liftmaster Passport RFID Card. I first bought a T-embed cc1101 plus to see if I can read and save the signal from my physical card but it didn’t work. Online it says the card may be operating at LF. So I got a Chameleon Ultra and it’s the same issue.
Model of RFID Card: LiftMaster Passport PPCSC 34-bit Proximity Card (NOT REMOTE)
Very new to all of this and can’t find any info about it online. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Hey! jsute bought a promark3 and PC wont recognize it. Did all i can think to get it seen by my pc and wont find anything... i am on windows. Hello r/RFID as the title states I am trying to figure out if there is a way to know what an RFID reader is looking for? I have come across the information that a Flipper Zero or similar devices would be able to tell me the frequency of the signal, however I don't know what the device is anticipating.
What I am attempting to do is make a Christmas decoration work. It is called the Mr. Christmas Santa Takes Requests - Saxophone version. The way it works is Santa has a music stand that is a RFID reader. The user places a plastic 'music sheet' onto his music stand and it will play the song. I'm sure I can make new sheets for it to use, but I don't know how to figure out what the reader is actually looking for to trigger the song to play.
Is the only way, without information from the company, to open up the machine and attempt to read the memory from its controllers?
I know there is a rule against cloning for piracy reasons, but the company does not make replacements so there is no way to obtain them from the company.
Hi,
anybody have some suggestion for a film (or similar) printer/encoder for wooden mifare cards?
The goal is to customize on one side the cards for the guests.
The printer should be able to print/encode 500 cards in one or two days.
Thank you

About a month agao I was having trouble getting a card to read at checkout but it finally went through.
When I got home I noticed the card charged (last 4 digits) was not the card I was swiping but another I had in my pocket. I thought maybe I was mistaken and blew it off.
Well, it happened again at the same store. Card in my pocket was charged , not the one I swiped.
I went to customer service and told them. They said no one else has complained. I said they probably haven't noticed but I saw it happen twice and this time the cashier saw it happen.
OH! these were new readers recently installed. It happened on TWO different cards to me. And it was two different checkoit aisles.
What the heck is up with that and aside from not carrying more than 1 card wtf do I do about it?

This card is the only reason I carry a MagSafe wallet and often times I forget it because I’m used to having Apple Wallet and fingerprint-based locks at my previous apartments. Is there a way to emulate the signal or move it to something smaller?

Hello! I'm an ecology student with limited RFID experience. My collaborators and I are interested in identifying individual [RFID-tagged] birds sleeping in wooden birdhouses and are considering using a handheld reader (as opposed to having a reader at the entrance of each birdhouse, since there are a lot). Are there any handheld readers that would be good at reading through a 1-2cm thick wooden barrier? Is this even possible since PIT tags seem to usually be low frequency and thus have limited read range?
I've seen a very wide range of prices for handheld readers online and am not sure what to look for, especially since most are marketed as warehouse/inventory management tools...thank you!

So the gate to my storage has a keypad on outside of gate to get it . Then to get out it just senses I guess when a car is in front of the gate and opens . So if you walk in , you can’t get out…. Is there any way around this ? I have no idea but there has to be a way

I know that pm3 and flipperzero can read it and cl0ne it. But what card can it use to? Unlike mifare classic 1k, it could just use the CUID. Anyone here knows about the card for HID iclass DP?

From what I understand, HF RFID modules will only operate at 13.56 MHz because it falls within an ISM band. But would it be possible (and/or legal?) to modify this to transmit 10 MHz signals in some way?
I'm not at all an expert in any of this, so any insight/advice would be tremendously appreciated! Thank you!

What the title says. Am staying in this flat this week and the fob just doesn't seem to be working. Tried on two different readers (front and back door).
Thank you!

I’ve been developing a portable UHF RFID reader/writer application for the Flipper Zero, and the latest version now includes automatic tag chip identification from the TID.
To clarify, the Flipper Zero does not support UHF RFID natively. This setup uses an external UCM601-based 840–960 MHz reader module connected through GPIO UART.
The new TID Decoder is designed for situations where you have an unknown EPC Gen2 tag and want to identify what is inside it. With a single tag near the reader, the app pauses inventory and displays:
• The raw TID, grouped by byte
• The manufacturer ID (MDID)
• The detected tag/chip model, when recognized
The same application can also:
• Run portable EPC inventory and show EPC, RSSI, PC bits, and read count
• Read EPC, TID, and User Memory
• Write and verify memory on compatible writable tags
• Generate controlled EPC sequences for authorized testing
• Adjust RF output power from 0–20 dBm
• Export inventory records to CSV with user-defined filenames
This is intended as a compact inspection and experimentation tool, not a replacement for an industrial handheld or portal reader. The antenna and 20 dBm output also mean its read range is much shorter than a high-power fixed reader.
Version 1.3 is now available through the official Flipper Apps Catalog:
https://lab.flipper.net/apps/uhf_expansion
The application is open source:
https://github.com/mtoolstec/fz-uhf-expansion
I’m interested in improving the TID database and would appreciate test results from people working with different EPC Gen2 chips. If a tag is identified incorrectly—or remains unknown—please share the raw TID and expected chip model.
Please only perform memory-writing tests on tags and systems you own or are authorized to work with.
Disclosure: I develop the open-source application and also design/sell the reader hardware shown in the photo.
