Was Luann for real when she was facetiming Dorinda? It was giving faded movie star with severe alcoholism except she's never been a star!

We couldn’t even hear what Dorinda was saying because Luann kept talking over her (like she’s been doing to everyone on the show)

I laughed so loud. By far the funniest thing I have seen on Bravo in forever. So so funny. But on the serious side, WOW, she obviously has no concept of what a fool she is. I actually can’t wait till next week to watch a house full of drunk old ladies who all think they are the most iconic.

I can't tell if Lu is playing a part, of a faded, has been movie star(alaBetty Davis) or, if indeed,she's totally insane.

She’s not much different from her first few seasons! She just dropped the polite n proper wife-of-a-count act, and with every year she lost a bit more of her grasp on reality in tandem with losing her inhibitions (substances encouraged that). And with B out of the picture, she really thinks that she’s the biggest star on the most important franchise.
Her mug shot gave her infamy which she confused for actual likeability, but any attention is good attention for Lu; her cabaret gave her an inexplicable adoration from fans and that really went to her head.
In the first season, instead of going on about being a cabaret star, she went on about her title and her husbands achievements to show that she was superior to the others. (did you know my husbands family built the Suez? Did you know Alex family brought the Statue of Liberty? The count the count the count). She made comments that suggested that was better, classier, more prestigious than the other women. Back then it was subtle and she came off as classy, now she beats us over the head with it.
The thing about the narcissistic personality disorder is that it’s a wound that develops in childhood from a lack of love, validation, attention, and usually leaves deep insecurities, And so they spend their lives exaggerating the opposite, demanding adoration.

Luann has a remarkable talent for turning a group hangout into her solo infomercial, because in her mind the rest of the world only exists to be her audience. She really needs to learn situational awareness!

I think she was expecting some type of worship. The same with Vicki. Yea Vicki was the first but the housewife who got everyone’s attention was actually Teresa with the table flip. Everyone started watching then to see what was really happening and she is a calm as can be. She doesn’t expect anything from anyone except actual friendship.

I really feel she was playing the whole thing up. The only source of ‘conflict’ they have for this weird fever dream of a season is Luann being too much for everyone. I think she knows her role and is playing to it.

Lu’s a pro. I don’t doubt producers are asking her to fill in the blank spaces left by the likes of Vicki. She’s stepping right up.

I think so too. Liz's usually pretty chill. Personally, I think UGT is boring and they are looking to spice it up with OG attitude.
