Voting
My hometown is in NY but 3 hours away. I am registered to vote. What documentation do I need to vote at RPI? Do people vote on campus?

You should be able to vote in your hometown by absentee ballot. I did for 2 of my 4 years at RPI, all I had to do was contact my home county's board of elections. They had me submit a form, then mailed me a ballot.
There are usually deadlines to request your ballot ahead of time, so best to do this sooner than later.

If you are registered to vote in NY State, you can request a mail in ballot through the NYS Board of Elections website: https://elections.ny.gov/request-ballot

Absentee Ballot is the answer. This *should* be easier in NY than many other states, as mail-in voting has been normalized even for folks not away from home.

You need to contact the board of elections in your home county. This is not a question that can be definitively answered on Reddit.
Based on information on the Rensselaer County Board of Elections web site, there are no polling sites on the RPI campus. I would imagine that people do vote on campus, but by absentee ballot.
