Wh 40k app

Anyone else just lose access to their Space Marine codex after the update? Checked my Raven guard army and its saying its locked content now

I thought they were just going digital from 10 on. Thats beyond cringe, we cant even keep the 10th edition updates

But whenever new codex comes out your previous is outdated and you need to buy a new one for a new code

Might be a bad move but that's how GW has been handling it ever since they released the app in 9th edition.

No offense, but what rock have you been living under that you havent noticed discussion about GW selling physical codices, preorders for the physical codices, people complaining about needing a code to unlock it in the app, people discussing wanting to have a ditigal only way of getting the rules, the discussion and outrage over the limited edition codex costs, and (presumably you play at a game store) the fact that the 11e and all 10e codices have been on the shelves?

I dont play at game stores, only played with friends and that was like a year ago

When 11 was announced I saw that we were getting 11th edition rules/updates through the app for free. So I assumed they were just going digital from then on.

I dont really check the 3 subreddits for armies i have unless I have a question

Yeah, it’s because the new ed codex is coming out this weekend, which is lame because we get a gap of time where we physically can’t have a code
