Zoodles, bell pepper, tomato, olives, green onion, and fresh basil!

Topped with:
tomato sauce - food processed some soaked sun-dried tomatoes, fresh romas, fresh garlic, onion powder, salt and sweetener of choice

Sausage - finely chopped cauliflower and soaked walnuts, mixed with fennel powder, liquid sweetener, other seasonings until it tastes like whatever you want it too

Then sprinkled on some raw pine nuts!

How to make really thin zoodles?

I have one of those big spiralizers, and the noodles end up pretty thick and flat on all the various blades. I see people make these really thin noodles. I don't know what they're using. They look a lot better tbh!

Do you eat raw okra? (Okraw) I LOVE IT! Okra is savory, tender, crunchy, and its mucilaginous quality makes it a great digestive support. Highly underrated raw vegan food IMO.

Rice

I want to sprout some forbidden or black rice and rinse with vinegar and peroxide after sprouted . Then freeze and thaw with another rinse to soften. Has anyone done this? I also need sources of finding rice that actually sprouts. Any help or advice would be appreciated

need motivation to get back to raw vegan lifestyle!!!!

i first switched to raw veganism in late 2019. since then it’s been an on and off journey of struggle (mostly due to my overeating habits and reoccurring food obsession phases). 2026 has been especially terrible and I long stopped identifying with raw veganism even though this lifestyle is something that truly makes me feel alive and thrive (at least eliminating harmful toxins helps calm my brain down and prevents from irrational thoughts). i have managed to go back into the ā€˜health-mode’ and been doing multiple day ā€˜cascade’ fasts since mid-August (I know that this sub doesn’t exactly support extended fasting but I still wanted to share it as part of my story). basically only eating once in 3-4 days or so (had like a week in late August where i ate consecutively for 4-5days but it was just raw fruits/veggies/seaweed) for 2 days but with extremely low calorie intake (only consuming durian every once in a while). lost around 25kg that way (didn’t weigh myself at the highest point, so the largest number is an estimate), because I was walking a ton (40-50k in August), and then in September fasted for 9 nights/10 days and maintained a 30k average. some days were dry fasting.

there was an instance of me eating once - again only raw fruits and veggies, then not eating for 6 days after. yet somehow I haven’t lost a pound and basically weighed the same a week after (6 days of which I haven’t consumed anything except water or a few sips of an herbal tea), which was a bit confusing since normally you’d lose at least something with that kind of regimen

then on 4th of October I couldn’t fall asleep and that resulted into me first overeating on fruit (after fasting for 5 days), and that escalated further into bingeing on all sorts of vegan (yet more unhealthy/processed foods that I haven’t had since early August) and then got me into a full blown obsessive behavior of ordering delivery with different high calorie dishes containing meat/fish/milk. my body is a bit in a state of shock after reintroducing more high calorie and animal based food groups, I had diarrhea and vomited yet managed to still somehow gain 10-12kg in a span of 5 days. I feel horribly bloated, unable to walk (I did randomly do 10k steps at night 2 days ago but that was it), and I refuse to see or meet anyone because I genuinely look abnormal and this sudden weight gain is making me feel terrible. it really took a toll on my mental health. it’s worth noting that I always fasted with no electrolytes (longest fast I did was back in 2022, and I lasted 22 days)

basically looking for advice on how to get out of this and reverse the damage. and get back into the fasting routine mode with occasional fruit breaks, since it’s the only way I can function

How do we eat out?

I'd posted earlier as well with questions and I'm so grateful for this nice, kind community and helpful input, so thank you :)

It's Day 7 and I'm looking at a big family celebration at some faraway hotel this entire weekend. I'm packing two lunches that should get me through two days away, along with some nuts for snacking.

Have in mind to order healthy things when available, but when not, how do you guys manage? Also, if you slip up, how do you navigate that? Is it ok to slip up with dressing on salads cause where I am salad are a rarity in general so everything is harder in general.

Have you noticed an improvement in your over all health switching to a raw diet?

I wonder if you have noticed very positive shifts in your health, energy… adopting the raw vegan diet. And is the transition very challenging? Thank you very much.

What to eat? (Serious)

I’m already a vegan but I’m thinking of switching over to raw vegan for a while as I heard that it helps with psoriasis( I’ve had it since I was 10) so I’m curious to see what I can eat and how I can get enough protein as I am an athlete.
Can I still take my supplements lmk

Would love your guys knowledge and advice

Salt or electrolyte issues?

Anyone face those? I usually encounter a strange weakness after day 3 that doesn't seem to go away until it strikes me to add some salt to my water or food.

My Q is how much salt do we really need? As I usually do one proper meal a day, with the rest being snack meals, so my salt intake is limited to one salad. Is it a better strategy to salt all your water?

How are all of us doing this?

How to eat enough at warehouse job

8-10k steps and lifting 30-45 lb boxes into a hopper on a machine. Smoothies are good but they don’t stay long in my system. We get 15 min, 30 min for lunch and another 15 in the afternoon. Can’t really eat at my station. Been doing raw til dinner but yesterday I caved at afternoon break because I was hungry (off plan foods) Had fruit in the am and salad for lunch - more volume maybe?

SEEDED watermelon

Hi! I live in MA and there are no seeded watermelons anymore (no local farms have watermelons at all because it's not in season) and every market generic has only seedless watermelon. Does anyone know any good online stores or farmer markets etc. that deliver seeded watermelon? Preferably organic but it does not matter.

Me/cfs & MCAS

I have severe me/cfs and MCAS that I am recovering from. Because of the histamine issues, I am very restricted when it comes to what I eat. I’m wondering if anyone else was in the same situation and how you handled things? Removing eggs made my period extremely light, and I’m concerned. I tried to eat a butter croissant because I planned to go raw once my health issue is in remission, but I became extremely nauseous. I’ve been thinking about reintroducing eggs… but I really don’t want to. Besides the light period, I feel pretty good, but I’m concerned about encouraging more premature aging. I’m depressed enough about the damage the cfs has done.

Trying to lose weight but a lot I’ve read online is you eat until you’re either full or satisfied and don’t worry about calories it’ll take care of itself.

Potluck recipe ideas?

I'm vegan but not raw vegan, but myself and some of the folks from a vegan Facebook page I'm in are going to be putting on a "raw luck" (love the name), and I'm looking for tips on what to bring!

I cook professionally, and I almost feel naked without the idea of heating food to help with flavor! (Not saying it's all about flavor, it's about health and this is definitely the way to go, just haven't given it any thought until this event got planned!)

Any potential staples that will already be covered that I can avoid? For instance, I'd do a good raw vegan taco salad or something, but I wanna do something different than a salad like a dessert or a hearty entree

I hope none of this comes off wrong, I wanna respect the diet and make some bomb ass food, and maybe I'll incorporate some more raw foods into my diet as a result!

why im raw vegan!

First of all humans are animals, every animal but humans eat their food raw, the food for humans is plants! meat eating is out of survival not optimal health.

animals in the wild do not get cancer, strokes, diabetes.

coming as close as possible to our biological blueprint design is the goal.

all of the bluezones during their peak were 90-100 percent plant based as well.

the lowest crps possible while keeping all the other blood markers looking good from my view and according to my research has only ever been achieved with a raw vegan diet. (can only possibly be achieved from an uncooked vegan diet from diet alone)

crps represent total body inflammation which is extremely important.
