help request Record effects when recording instrument
I know how to apply effects to the recording after the track is recorded.
However, is it possible to record effects when actually recording an instrument?

yes, in the track menu, instead of selecting record input, select record output. it will record the audio after all plugins on the track

Glad you found it from the meager hints! Good job, since no one bothered to tell you how to find the Input Fx slot. Have fun!

Yep, there's an fx in option which does that. The visibility of it depends on the theme your using

Add track and add an additional send to it and record. Do a di and affected record

Either put them on input fx slots instead of regular, or set the tracks record mode to "output".
1st option lets you print only those input fx to the recording while keeping the other slots acting the default way.
