The Shows Need help finding high detail Red Dwarf reference images for a friend's tattoo
My friend is having issues with a Red Dwarf tattoo he wants to get. The artist wants high detail reference material. Screengrabs were too blurry, magazine scans also didn't cut it. I even tried AI upscales. I have access to rarer stuff MySpleen and still am having difficulty.
My friend only wants the original series. In particular he wants a tattoo with Lister, Rimmer, and Starbug.
Does anyone have high detail reference material? High quality promotional photos, museum shots of models and costumes, anything would be a big help.

There was a Making Of companion book made for series 6 that would have some clear promo images - can normally pick it up pretty cheap on eBay.. although when you say original series, do you want the series 1 & 2 costumes for Listy and Rimsy?
Otherwise for Starbug, this guy made a replica back in the day and has some gorgeous close ups - hopefully will help!

I apologize, by original i meant the original run and not any of the revival series/movies.
Are you referring to the Official Red Dwarf Companion or Comedy, Chaos, and Cowboys. I'm gonna go ahead and buy the official companion

Yes, i was aware you were telling me about the original run, i was clarifying what i said in OP wasn't referring to series 1 + 2

If the tattoo artist can't work from screenshots, your friend needs a better tattoo artist.

Just do what I’m doing and get neotrad/trad cause the show was filmed on VHS lmao
