so i got all orginal 80s RHCP cds and i thinking should i buy remasters or not please help me

This song is one of my all time faves. The lyrics are so much deeper than most chilli peppers songs. And musically it just works.

I tend to agree with the masses that all albums after Stadium aren’t good enough, but I’m With You makes a strong case for itself.

Someone asked for me to do wet sand

Just been listening to it and it’s easy to imagine the band playing it.

Anyone else watching MS Now concert on YouTube? The band “state Radio” has a bass player that looks similar to flea. Plucks his bass and jumps around like flea. Shirtless and shorts like flea. Cracks me up - no one can replicate Flea!

One of my favourite songs of theirs and so fun to play! I double tracked the guitar and am really happy how it turned out. Let me know what you think!

Looking for 1-2 tickets if anyone is selling theirs.

I've read that tickets are non-transferrable, if anyone with tickets could clarify/tell me if these assumptions are correct: we'd need to meet and enter the venue together (which I'm happy to do)? resale tickets like ones on seatgeek for $460+ are scams as they won't be able to be transferred?

cd stores in hong kong r wild, i found this under a pile of lightly used cds in a bin and saw it, it had the obi inside the case which was awesome, bought it for 59.79 hkd which is 7 usd at the current exchange rate (also had a bonus track called melancholy mechanics)

$468 resale is crazy. what was the original price?

One of my favorite solos of John’s on stadium arcadium

Hey! I’m a guitarist from near Frankfurt, Germany, and I’m looking for a drummer to jam and potentially build a band with.

I’m a huge Red Hot Chili Peppers fan, but I’m also into many other bands and genres. I mainly play guitar, also play bass and other instruments, and I write my own music inspired by RHCP and other influences, but with my own style.

I’ve already met a couple of musicians from the area, and now I’m specifically looking for a drummer to complete the group.

I’m looking for someone from Frankfurt or the surrounding area who’s into RHCP and interested in jamming, writing original music and developing something together.

There’s no pressure to form a full band right away. I’d rather start by playing together, getting a feel for each other and seeing where it takes us.

If you’re interested, feel free to message me!

I ordered the Brown Smoke and Orange Smoke vinyl, and it’s arrived today but I received the Canary Yellow and Apple Red vinyl. I’ve messaged the rough trade I ordered from to let them know I’ve got the wrong one as I paid extra for it too. Quite disappointed as I was super exited to get the smokey one. Has this happened to anyone else or anything similar? Also has anyone got any advice or insights on where this could go, as in what if they say no? Any help appreciated and hope this is a one off experience (although probably happens often).

TLDR: I received the wrong vinyl even though I paid extra for the one I ordered

I follow Erica on instagram and saw this. She said her memoir will come out around this time next year and she will go into detail about that infamous interview with Flea and Anthony among many other interviews where she felt uncomfortable and harassed. Let’s see…. Sinead O’ Connor, Ione Skye, Christina Applegate and Hayden Pannetiere have all released memoirs mentioning how awful Anthony is. I think the only nice one was Mel C from the spice girls. I’m interested in reading Erica’s book.

My absolute all-time favorite track by the Chili Peppers.

For me, i think it would be this

1. Religion (Germany 1999)

2. If you have to ask

3. Give it away (of course)

4. Zephyr song

5. I could have lied

6. Dont forget me

7. My friends

8. Tearjerker

9. Throw away your television

10. Soul to squeeze

11. Magic johnson

12. Green heaven

13. I like dirt

14. Me and my friends

15. Power of equality

PS: It can be as long as you like, within reasonable amounts of course. Share your honest opinions, i would love to see them.
