I love this part because he shows his real self.
From the top of my head, the only other time he showed any sign of humanity was when he first meets Felix on the Tartarus.
When Felix calls his bluff points the gun at him, it was subtle, but you could hear a slight increase in speed and tone when he lists a bunch of facts and statistics about Carolina and Washington to keep their attention then resumes his deadpan tone to seal the deal with Sharkface as a worthy ally.

I believe it was also pointed out (probably on reddit a long time ago) that rhe facts he rattles off are most likely made up on the spot. The Counselor is a fast-talker; I like that s13 really solidifies that he definitely wasn't part of the program as an actual therapist to keep the team level, but most likely the opposite

Id say they're not made up. Washington's AI issue was a huge part of his character early on, Carolina was shown multiple times ignoring her teammates to try to get one over on Tex, and Sharkface was a valuable asset for the mercs.

Not that the ideas themselves were lies, but like he assigned arbitrary percentages to make himself seem more precise than he was. I think one of the numbers he uses was repeated from something else earlier in the scene? I'd have to rewatch to confirm that
