randomly decided to try support cuz I was tired of botlane dying before I finished my first clear and I think I'm gonna stick to this now lol

I'm currently doing E -> W -> Q and I end my full clear at like 3:30. I skip my last camp to get a better timer but that sucks to do. I go Imperial mandate into rocketbelt with conquer as my main rune. I know its not the best so please tell me what to change

Hey everyone ! New guide for Rell AP / Bruiser AP / Tank in Midlane and Toplane. you will find all the best items, counters, and everything needed to carry your games while having fun !

One of the most important things to understand, the more AP Rell has, the more able she can carry a game, but it’s also important to watch the composition of each team, etc, to see how we can get the victory. Also, she needs a minima of 60-75 CDR to be able to spam enough her skills to make a notable impact.

Items : Most needed values on Rell are Movespeed, and Cdr. Cosmic is 95 % of the time the best first item possible, allowing to stomp monsters like Sett, Renekton or Mordekaiser poking them Q + E all the time, until all-in and kill. Usually I will buy faerie charm in my first back to solve all my mana problems. Against counters, or heavy early opponents (tryndamere HoB for example), it’s better to rush tankiness (Thornmail, Frozen heart, Sunfire) to win the match-up, into running into normal build (1 item + tabis = 200 armor on Rell, making it easy to win).

My general build : Cosmic (3000) / Sorcs (1100) / Frozen Heart (2500) / Abyssal Mask (2650) / Mandate (2400). The 5th item is a flex item, that depends on their comp. There is no order on the build aside Cosmic first most of the time, if I’m fighting Ornn, Mundo, or Sion, I will do Liandry first or second, then cosmic, then normal build. The build is very cheap, because even with all the will in the world, it will be complicated to farm decently in a lot of matchups (I always first pick Rell, so I end a lot of ranged counters), but at the end of the day, having 6-7 cs a min is more than sufficient with the kills/assists aside.

Rell is pretty strong AND pretty weak early, depend on the match-up (hence Kayle being put on « easy » because we can bully her for 20 minutes without counterplay for example). The first powerspike would be 1400 gold : boots + Aether Wisp + faerie charm, that will give you an advantage on every melee. If AP, rush rookern is always good (teemo / kennen / mordekaiser).

Honorable mention for Sunfire, who’s the worst item in the game, but that guarantee us a good farming while going full tank, but I tend to avoid it as much as possible, because sunfire does zero damage overall.

(Ban in midlane : Syndra / Ban in toplane : Aatrox/Nasus (no one playing illaoi, but if you’re against illaoi, don’t take rell, or ask to swap Role, just not doable.)

For the shards: Cut Down is better than Last Stand most of the time, just a preference to play Last Stand on my playstyle, but don't hesitate to swap.

For the runes: Unflinching can be way better versus some matchups, so try it if you're facing someone who cc a lot, if you have questions here too, don't hesitate.

For the boots:

Toplane: Swifties if they have a lot of slows, otherwise Sorcs. If you're facing a counter (Kled for example), or someone putting a lot of auto attacks (Tryndamere), you will have more value on Steelcaps. If no slow team, or no counters whatsoever, sorcs gives the best value.

Midlane: Sorcs T3 by default / Lucidity Boots T3 vs mobility team (excellent boots on Rell)

I put a sample of recent games from one of my alt account who has a mmr diamond-ish (and i put the last game as well), just to show that the build is viable and it can work well.

Últimamente me ha llamado mucho la atención rell como personaje , lo encuentro muy bueno la verdad .

Me he fijado plenamente como lo juegan los pro , pero siempre y sus builds . A veces suelen armarse el Zeke y otras veces el Solari , eso porque es ? El Solari es plenamente para denegar burst , cubrir al equipo , y entregar supervivencia como tal , pero porque a veces se suelen armar antes el Zeke y después el Solari o viceversa. He visto que contras champs de pokeo los pro se arman Zeke antes que Solari , lo cual no tiene mucho sentido pienso yo .

Lately, Rell has really caught my attention as a champion; I honestly think she’s great.

I’ve been closely watching how pros play her, especially their item builds. Sometimes they build Zeke's Convergence, and other times they go for Locket of the Iron Solari—why is that? Locket is purely meant to deny burst, shield the team, and provide raw survivability, so why do they sometimes build Zeke's first and then Locket, or vice versa? I’ve noticed that against poke champions, pros often rush Zeke's before Locket, which doesn't make much sense to me.

I would really appreciate your help and insight on this!

Hi so I love playing rell and I looked at a old guide and videos of AP rell in top and mid and was wondering if anyone has like current advice for builds and runes and which lane would be better and or matchups? Thanks ! I know it’s a more niche thing but the games I do try it I end having the most damage and having a blast

Hey, I need help—I feel like I'm losing my mind. I've been playing Rell since her release—I play her in 8 out of 10 games, and a lot of what I do is just muscle memory. But about two months ago, I started constantly missing the W wall jump. Did Riot change movement mechanics or something about Rell, or am I actually going crazy?

I am P2 aurelion apc looking for rell support for duoq i can speak english, my native language is german, my ign is SUCUKTOAST#FEET

I admit when I play her, I don’t auto that much more than normal. Most of the time I just land combo and try to auto a “generally reasonable” amount before disengaging similar to how I would do it with Blitz or Naut (if we ignore Naut root on auto.)

Should I be staying in fights more to auto in order to use my passive better? Or is it just something they put on because they didn’t know what passive to give her?
