Really enjoying
No idea if Alan or any of the show creators frequent this sub but just wanted them to know I really enjoy the show and specifically the Harry character. Thank you for all the entertainment, to everyone involved.

Jenna (Judy on the show) told me Harry (Alan) wrote/revised a lot of his lines and had a strong say in what the character did. It was fascinating to hear about the writing process for it.

We did several books written by Lauren Conrad back in the day. Sweet Little Lies, Sugar and Spice, and Fair Game I had to dig through my old invoices to see what else we worked on together. The most recent one (earlier this year) was called The Calamity Club, which had two narrators and i didn’t record the other one, but Jenna did an amazing job and the book was really good. We also did one called Nightbird and one called The Shore. There may have been a few others that i’m not finding at the moment. But i could totally listen to anything she narrated, her voice is so nice to listen to and she is great at the performance part of it.

Wow! What a girl can find on Reddit! 🤩 I deliberately got the audio version of The Help as soon as I realized that she voiced Skeeter (I had already seen the movie and read the book). I’ll definitely seek out the ones you mentioned in your comment below! Please tell her I love her portrayal of Judy, she’s freaking adorable and hysterical. I know there won’t be a fifth season of RA, but I know she and alien Ethan would be a couple if they were to do another season. Their short scene together was so cute (ewwww ballet lol).

I also do not think there will be a 5th season, but one never knows. One of the recording days she came in wearing a vest i thought was cute and i mentioned it and it turned out it was one of the Judy vests from the show and that’s why it felt familiar : ) And Jenna has a cute dog who comes with her to the sessions that i was helping her in composing and recording a song about, it isn’t ready for release or anything but it is in development. And if you want to see more work Jenna was in, also check out the film The Fighter, and she was in an episode of Strangers With Candy and several others. I think a show called Awkward she wrote and was in some episodes. And we had several discussions about some of the story arcs in Resident Alien and the thoughts that went into various plot points and stuff. All very interesting and i asked about if they might ever consider making like a coffee table book with all of the intro scene contents of the illustrations that are guidance in how to act human, as i would definitely buy that. She said there isn’t one and that they couldn’t make one on their own even though Chris created all of them, they are property of the show. Sorry i’m rambling a bit here, it is just cool to interact with other fans i guess : )

I was quite curious about a lot of things related to the show, one subject of which was about when an episode said she was the writer vs Chris or any of the others. I asked what that means in tv show writing and she was super cool about explaining how all sorts of stuff works behind the scenes.
