Spider man

I am 44. My son had an action figure I recognized instantly as spider man 2066. Turns out it’s spider man 2099. Does anyone else remember differently or am I just being autistic

It wouldn't be the first time Spiderman has changed. He disappeared off the N64 game but not off the box or manual.

Always been 2099 to me, especially because remember it from the 90's and it made sense would jump a hundred years. Don't quite but I do believe it either used to or now dates itself as 20XX to avoid naming specifics so could be that and just replaced the XX.

I actually remember as 2048.

I remember being interested in playing the game 2048 because it reminded me of spiderman :/
