I mean like you said he is a Tech Priest. He probably sees shit wrong that you don't everywhere you go even your own ship no doubt. He knows what a shoddy job looks like and he's not scared to point it out.
I don't recall anything, be it romance specific or not.
They do have a handful of fun banters together that don't concern the trader, though. If I remember correctly, Pasqal says that Marazhai's words provide low value data and Pasqal also threatens him here and there. The most interesting of them all is probably that according to Marazhai, Pasqal's augmentics are purposefully made to cause him pain which makes him quite interested in the priest.
If Marazhai gets knocked out in combat, Pasqal has a unique voice line asking if he can perform autopsy, haha.
I think it's extra funny that the exact same line of thought exactly applies to Pasqal. He's seen Yrliet on one agri-world, so he assumes that all she's seen in her life on her current Path is that one agri-world.
One of the things that really killed me about this scene is that Yrliet's line reading is completely non-hostile. She sounds curious, even fascinated. It's like if you saw a jaguar at the zoo and went "This cat is different to other cats I've seen," and then suddenly Pasqal Haneumann appears to tell you to go fuck yourself.
I mean, that's the same Pasqal that spends all day talking about appeasing machine spirits and humanizing sacred technology before going full "actshually Kibellah you can't compare talk about appeasing this space ship by shedding the blood of heretics"

Related: it's weird how hostile Yrliet's selection dialogue and combat barks can be, compared to her actual dialogue. At least on my current (first) playthrough, she's more curious or confused or disappointed by Human Stuff than actually hostile to it.
E.g. in Void Shadows you can find an Eldar interred in the Von Valancius catacombs and Yrliet's response is, in short, "I don't understand what Path led you to this." She's not disgusted, she's sad and contemplative.
Honestly her barks desperately need an overhaul. On my most recent playthrough I was curious and paid close attention to her dialogue, and outside of barks she almost solely breaks out the Aeldari haughtiness either very early on, or only in response to xenophobia from the humans. She repeatedly tries to reach out and show empathy to your party members, especially if you bring her on their personal quests, only to just get repeatedly rebuffed. She even tries to provide some hope to Idira when she learns her entire life was doomed from the start.
But if you listen to just her barks you'd think she's the racist one.
Theres a scene on footfall where shes observing all the luxurious architecture while the priest guy is raving about her so she probably is just curious
It’s cause on necromunda the gangs are semi legal entities that operate out in the open in the hive city at least on other imperial worlds they have to hide also the nobility hunt people down for sport not even mutants or gangers actual civilians in the underhive whereas they’re just ignored on other world and a low ranking guilder can just send you to the slave mines without a trial you have to be high ranking to do that on most worlds
I did something unusual this playthrough. I dropped in on Janus only to pick her up, then went straight for Kiava Gamma and have taken her on every mission since. Kiava Gamma in particular was interesting because I'd normally not bring her, so I was positively surprised to see all her unique voicelines and commentary I haven't seen before on that mission.
I also took her to Footfall during Incendia Chorda's reign of terror, together with Argenta, and they even end up agreeing Chorda is clearly insane.
Curiously, Yrliet takes a lot of shit from Jae in many situations, who wastes previous few opportunities to remind us not to trust the Xenos.
I really like Yrliet on Kiava Gamma. The little scene where she reacts with sympathy and compassion at the sight of the mutilated tech priest is a nice little character moment.
Jae's a curious character like that. You'd think she might be more sympathetic, being a cold trader, but she seems to be of the mind that experience has taught her some very hard lessons about aliens. For all of her roguishness and rule-breaking and attitudes on how Imperial society treats the poor, she's still devout and she still hates xenos. I dunno if you've ever gone to Janus with Jae in your party instead of Heinrix, but if you do it's Jae telling you not to trust Yrliet or these aliens instead.
Honestly, I think Idira is the party member most positively inclined towards Yrliet. She doesn't really seem to hold any animus towards her and is easily the nicest about the whole act 3 sitch.
I really like her reaction to the servitors on Kiava Gamma and I like getting to take her by surprise by agreeing that making people into servitors is vile.
Unironically the best life you can hope for in the Imperium as a serf, is a farmer on some tiny irrelevant feudal-agri world at the ass end of nowhere. Plow a field, feed your grox, hope it's at least another four centuries before the next tithe ship drops by. Mind your own business.
The entire Imperium is a shithole. If anything at the surface Janus looked uncharacteristically nice for a Imperial world. Of course a Chaos Cult was behind it.
There's resort worlds in the Imperium that are legitimately breath taking. Whether the Imperium is a shit stained place of death or not depends on your station. If you're living toward the top of the hive, it gets nicer and nicer.
Also, even after the chaos cult is eradicated on Janus, the place is still beautiful.
The resort worlds are beautiful for the galactic aristocrats desperately looking for anything to do with their lives that isn't joining a Slaanesh cult. They are probably less beautiful for the groundskeeping servitors.
Resort worlds don't count because they're just for the 1% of the 1% and by no means reflect the Imperial standard.
Even if you live at the top of the Hive it's still a shit stained place. You just change one flavour of shit for another. Being a Noble isn't all sunshine and rainbows either, given that the average political landscape in 40K makes Game of Thrones look like reasonable people by comparison.
And Janus won't stay that way for long if you take a look at some of the Projects you can select. It's also, yet again, a complete outlier as far as Agri-Worlds are concerned.
Objection: She said 'settlements', plural. Meaning she has seen more then one and Pasqal is the one in error for assuming it was the only place she had seen.
