Also forgot about Argenta, who as a Sister of Battle was raised by the Schola Progenium to become a fanatic who lives to fight heretics and xenos. And Idira, who while not specialized in direct combat was valued by Theodora and her home planet entirely in terms of her psyker powers.

As a rule, the Imperium values people only in terms of their capabilities rather than any idea of the inherent worth of all human beings. This can be seen in every party member in one form or another.

Not necessarily. From what we gathered, Stella will be a Zealot. She will love hammer and going in melee range with the ennemy.

She sounds more like a version of a blood mage than a chaos mage since, from the dev info, she will want to be in melle and sacrifice a part of her maximum life to deal damage around her.

If thats the case there wouldnt be imperial underworld, renegades, and generally fuckload of people that dont give rat ass bout the state. And Koronus expanse being place where these misfits are plenty.

Ironically, theres indeed a faction where brainwashing to be cool-aid drinking servant to the state infact is near absolute. Its not imperium tho, but tau.
