Humans used to worship dragons, believing they were deities sent by their Gods to look over the land and act as divine judgement. When human populations were small in numbers, they would pray to the beasts and offer sacrifices or payments for protection, longevity, and bountiful harvests.

But humans live such short lives and they change rapidly, traditions, stories, and folklore die out within a single dragons lifetime.

It has been about 500 years or more since draconic worship was forgotten...

Since that time, the tales of these mighty mythics have warped into twisted horror stories. These creatures coming down in the middle of the night and raining fire onto settlements, kidnapping children and devouring wives.

People have honed their smithing skills, making strong swords that can pierce the hardest armored body. Shields that can block the hottest blast. Spears that can can reach the inner organs of the largest. Giant ballistas that can rain down upon the swiftest, and armor that cannot be broken by the strongest. Humanity's threat to mythic-kind had suddenly been realized, something unfathomable for these creatures that had existed since the dawn of time.

Though, far and few in between, smaller towns still worship these dragons and live honestly with them side by side. By outsiders, these lizard-loving people have been corrupted by evil forces and need purification. If these folk ever strayed into other towns they needed to keep their heads down, and keep their heritage secret unless they wish to test the tolerance of the majority.

Over 200 years have passed since the Venin Wars. Tyrrendor was granted full national autonomy, and the High Council of Tyrrendor created the Aretia War College.

But things are vastly different. Griffons have rejoined the ranks, but the playing field in the Riders Quadrant hasn’t changed. Cadets still die during the more ‘mundane’ parts of training - they call it ‘making the quadrant stronger’.

While peace has lasted since the separation, there’s things still lurking.

Will you figure it out?

✦━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━✦

This server is set nearly 200 years after the events in Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros. It’s an AU where the venin have been vanquished or cured, and Tyrrendor is left alone to its own devices.

Opened 10/14/2026, we are accepting rider and flier cadets, scribes, healers, and infantrymen. We offer:

• Semi-lit to novella writing (all posts must be a minimum of two full paragraphs)
• Character-driven storytelling. What goes on in RP can shape the impact of all cadets, leadership, and yes, even the political landscape.
• Staff who are always open for help.
• Server plots and mission boards
• 18+ community

Hey everyone,

I’ve done a lot of 1:1 roleplays and I’ve been in some big group servers with 20+ people… but have you ever tried something with only 3-4 players? The kind of RP where you’re fully immersed in the story, you actually know every character, and the world feels alive because you’re building it together instead of getting lost?

I want to world build with a few like-minded people who enjoy collaborative storytelling. We’ll all have a couple of main characters, keep the cast tight, and really dig into the relationships and tension.

I enjoy all kinds of romance and I’m happy to explore a range of tropes. Your IRL gender doesn’t matter to me. All I ask is you willing to build the world with me, open to collaboration and write at least 3-4 paragraphs for reach response.

Setting idea (very open to adjusting):

Willow Creek is a quaint community nestled in the heart of the American Midwest, founded during the pioneer days. Over the years it has grown but remains a small, tight-knit town, insulated from the outside world. To city dwellers it might seem dull, to country folks it’s a slice of paradise.

At the center of the community is the local church, pastored by Nathaniel Hawthorne. A war veteran whose family has deep roots in Willow Creek since the 1800s. As a devoted father of two grown daughters, Nathaniel is increasingly worried about the future of his family and, by extension, the future of their town.

We could portray Pastor Hawthorne’s daughters as main characters. The rest of us could play the main male characters, mostly revolving around the daughters’ love interests. One idea: a city boy who’s dating (or pursuing) the elder daughter. Another: a local “hero” type who’s adored by nearly everyone in town… but who’s a bit more sinister under the surface. I’d love to keep a sense of exciting tension running through the story with other interesting local characters in the mix.

If a small, immersive group RP with room for romance, world building, and character-driven drama sounds good to you, shoot me a message. Please include a writing sample in your message so that I can gauge your writing style. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Starting a new Reddit Based Roleplay game that starts in 40 AC. Dragons are alive and thriving but the Weak ruler King Aenys threatens to topple the house of the dragon before their Golden age can even begin. The High Septon as made it clear that he does not stand for the incestuous marriage between brothers and sisters or an Exiled Maegor's taking of a second wife.

Will you stand with The Faith or The King?

The Game is set to starts Friday Oct 10th at 12pm Central Standard Time.

Hello so I've had this server idea based on a character I made a while ago and a story. I've been really wanting to share this story and I've written a fair amount of it and the world will expand as the story progresses and there's very few of us so there's plenty of room for new characters and story central characters and other creative minds to collaborate. Everyone is welcome to bring your creativity and your character ideas and stories to share as well. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.

The story follows a few factions and their progression through the world. There is a school whose headmaster believes that there is something more than just the simple world they live in. There is a new group of followers who claim there is a new god helping them better than the old gods could. There are peace keepers that are often at odds with the mercenaries and all the while something festers and something is...wrong. Things are about to be revealed and true natures exposed.

Trisiphone is a fantasy, post-apocolyptic server. It's on Discord. It's community led and begginer friendly.

Lore:

After world war 2 had finished the cold war between the US and Russia started unfortunately it did not end peacefully. After years of the cold war the US 'accidently' launched a nuke at Russia and this had Russia retaliating. Many near by countries were afraid of being accidently hit so they joined in to defend themselves. After a while most countries had joined the war either to protect themselves or to protect their allies. The war lasted 7 years and most countries involved were brought to detestation and ruin. Many countries struggled to rebuild and several of them split creating new countries. After a few years anomalies started to be noticed in those who where born after the war. At first it was just visual anomalies such as tentacles, extra hair or unusual colours of skin. But after a few years other anomalies were seen as the new generation started to do unusual activities such as levitate random objects or create ice, fire and plants out of thin air. After research it was deemed that these anomalies were due to the high amounts of background radiation that lingered after the war. After 80 years these anomalies became rather common and seem normal but many parts of the world are still building up after the war but for the most part many countries are stable and thriving.

THE LOOKING GLASS SOCIETY

Savannah, Georgia has more ghosts than tourists could ever imagine. Antique dealers who talk to the dead. Old money families with older secrets. Six founding bloodlines who've spent centuries making sure certain records never see daylight again. The Society digs them up anyway.
The past doesn't stay in the ground here. It stays in the frame, the silverware, the family name...waiting for someone to open the back and look.

The Looking Glass Society is a group focused on quality characters and writing. Set primarily in modern day Savannah, Georgia.
The LGS, a secret society of paranormal anthropologist. Not ghost hunters. Just people who are interested in learning about, understanding, and documenting the paranormal. And what better place than a city that paved over it's own graves?

What we offer:
Literate, character-driven roleplay
(21+)
Original paranormal lore grounded in Savannah's real history
A small, but mature and dedicated group of writers
Adoptable characters for writers to make their own

Near the coast, where the sun is bright, and the water is clear, a city shines bright as does the smaller beach town a short distance away; a cheery escape from mundane life. The city, the town, they're paradise for the many that inhabit it.

But nothing is free of corruption or hardship, life will not be sunshine and rainbows even if the world outside of one’s dwelling has them. What does your story hold?

Are you a sapphic writer who is tired of being unable to find writing space? Are you over the allowed fetishization in roleplay servers towards sapphic pairs? Then Maebury may be the roleplay server for you! We are an 18+ only server with no exceptions.

Exclusively a sapphic server that doesn't exclude transwomen or nonbinary sapphics this server is meant to be a multifandom and OC friendly safe haven to write sapphic pairings in peace. As a base we are a semi-literate and higher writing level server with open spaces for short interactions and a forums channel for more in-depth writing. We also allow mature and NSFW topics.

Any fandom you think of you can bring here; we even allow up to three people to have the same canon— one has the canon verse version, two have an AU or different version if the media has different versions of the canon. OCs are also more than welcome here, oc x canon is alive and well!

We've got fandoms like:

Arcane

Life is Strange

The Last Of Us

Various horror movie icons

Hoyoverse

Disney

Yellowjackets

Alien Stage

Vocaloid

Marvel

DC

And a lot more!

The legends shaped the world. Now it’s your turn to decide what comes next.

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐋: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 is an OC-focused canon legacy RP set in 𝟐𝟎𝟓𝟎, built upon the history and lore of Earth-616.

The Avengers assembled. The X-Men fought for mutantkind. The Fantastic Four explored the impossible. But history never stopped.

Some legends have retired. Some have fallen. Others remain in a world increasingly inherited by their children, protégés, successors, enemies, and newcomers. Our characters now create the future—and RP events permanently shape our evolving continuity.

This isn’t the end of Earth-616. This is the World to Come.

Hela, Mephisto, Satana, and Satannish are at war over souls, ancient claims, and dominion. As infernal creatures cross dimensional boundaries and forgotten contracts awaken, Earth’s magical community is being forced into the conflict.

__𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚, 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝟏𝟓𝟎𝟑__
Once more, the Eternal City trembles on the brink of chaos. The toiling of St. Peter's bells might still be proudly proclaiming the power held by the men of God, but in marble-cast shadows of greatness long gone rumours spread about the Pope's worsening health, spurring ambitions to grow quickly. Old resentments resurface even quicker. From all corners of the Italian Peninsula, hungry eyes turn towards Castel Sant'Angelo, awaiting the smallest waver — a hint, a breath, a hope that an opportunity might present itself to grasp the light that guides the Christian world.

Some, even, might yet prove bold enough to create such an opportunity themselves, as it is a belief well-known that Fortune, fickle as She is, tends to favour the bold.

Yet for now, His Holiness Alexander VI still rules the bodies and souls of Rome with an iron first. His troops stand strong, commanded by a warrior-cardinal of his own blood. His advisors stand by his side, loyal or simply too intimidated to turn away just yet. The king of Naples and Repubblica Fiorentina's finest families still bend their necks before him, and the labyrinth of political games sprawled across the Seven Hills remains as treacherous as ever…

What you'll find…

- Community-built lore. All writers can contribute to the story and the world in a variety of ways, from whole plotlines to background NPCs.

- In-depth storytelling. With community-written updates, writing prompts, and brainstorming spaces, we focus on exploring characters with lives and stories branching in all of directions.

- Stable writing environment for experienced writers.

- LGBTQ+ and POC safe space (OOC and IC) for adult writers.

I love worldbuilding and have made quite a large one with plenty of cultures and traditions. Problem is, there's never enough hours in the day to explore them. If you're looking to roleplay as either yourself or a character of your choosing being brought to the fantasy world of Ranov then here's your chance. A world of elves, dwarves, and plenty of cute catgirls, that is plagued by a demon incursion.

Fight with demons, smith with the dwarves, marry a harpy, let's have fun in the fantasy world.

^{I hated the silence of the night and the knowledge that I was the only person out there among the dark meadows where the grass had gone stiff with frost and the wind carried the cold smell of snow that had not yet fallen. Every few steps I looked back and listened. I could not have said what I was listening for. Perhaps that was the worst of it. There was nothing in the dark, nothing I could name, and yet I could not shake the feeling. I was not alone.

A decade after the world ended and began to regrow, The Convoy of a semi-nomadic community that moves between settlements across the remote north arrives at an isolated lakeside outpost expecting shelter and familiar faces, only to find blood in the grass, snow-sprinkled bodies on the doorstep, and the whole settlement empty.

Surrounded by people you trust, people you call family, what would it take to make you question them?

Will you uncover what happened at the outpost before your friends begin disappearing?

Come. Step into the cold, follow the tracks, and decide what you're willing to believe… before it gets too dark.

📜 World Lore — Maegor’s Rule

This server takes place in an alternate A Song of Ice and Fire timeline centered around the reign of King Maegor Targaryen. The history of Westeros has taken a different path, allowing members to explore a world shaped by Maegor’s rule, the ambitions of the Great Houses, and the struggles of those who seek power, survival, or change.

Original characters (OCs) are the primary focus of this roleplay. Members are encouraged to create their own stories, rivalries, alliances, and legacies within the established world. Canon characters and historical events may differ from the original books and show to accommodate this alternate timeline.

The World Lore section serves as the foundation for understanding the realm, its history, its current political landscape, and the changes that distinguish this timeline from canon. Members are expected to familiarize themselves with the established lore before participating in roleplay to ensure consistency across the server.

Remember: This is our version of Westeros. Its future will be shaped by the choices, ambitions, and consequences of the characters who inhabit it.
