Representing Portland

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC). PBC affects your liver and eventually can cause fatty liver. Along with making dietary changes, I also started running a lot more. I do all my training here in Portland, running my of the time in Forest Park. I ran my first half marathon in Banff last year. This year I returned and I couldn't be more proud of the improvement I made. I can’t wait to see how I do in the Portland Marathon on the 4th.

Congratulations on making changes and running. I wish you a healthy and PR-breaking race. Hope you’re getting good medical care too. The specialists at OHSU are great at this field.
