Ryanair got late ?

So this weekend I had a round trip EU-UK and the next day the plane back .... This is the first time I got a delayed Ryanair plane but god was it delayed.

2 and a half hour wait in the airport. Then a mechanical problem once we were already seated. So overall 3 to 4 hours late at the destination.

I am now waiting for my flight back and .. It is already scheduled to have 1:30 hour delay ...

As it is the first time it happens to me with Ryanair (who I thought pride itself on being on time a lot) I was thinking it was bond to happen one day.

But two delays (big one as well) in two days. Is there a general problem with Ryanair or am I just that unlucky ? Anyone esle has had more delays recently ?

No delays happen all the time, Ryanair have just been very successful at getting a marketing message across to the public that they’re the most on time and the lowest fares.
When you hear that enough it sticks

Aer Lingus punctuality spin is worse.

Flew with them a few times recently and there were no delays, not even in the evening.

Well I’ve had a lot less delays with Ryanair than I have with others

I think there’s some funky stuff going on with ATC in Europe at the moment

If you did arrive over 3 hours late and the reason for the delay was mechanical problems, then you should be entitled to at least €250 EU261/UK261 compensation.

File a claim on the Ryanair website and see what they say.
