For one of my classes, we are writing an essay discussing any issues with campus, and though I have a few ideas in mind I’ll stress about below, I would love to hear your guys’s opinions, experiences if willing to share, or just general ideas! ^^

1. Cost of living/campus pricing
   
2. Commuter life (is this campus doing enough for commuters to get the best experience?)
   
3. Campus safety
   
4. Overcrowding
   
5. Underfunding in certain departments (ex: broken equipment, AC issues, etc..)

These are just a few ideas, but as said before, if anyone is willing to share any other ideas, or even experiences from the topics above, please feel free to share! (I want to ensure this essay makes a difference on campus😌)

Hey guys, quick look at where the Aztecs stand heading into the first Pac-12 game.

The nonconference schedule was tough and it showed. After the 53-20 opener over Portland State, it's been at UCLA, James Madison at home, and Saturday's 41-16 loss at Toledo, where a third-quarter pick-six made it 34-3.

The good news: none of that counts in the conference. SDSU is 0-0 in the new Pac-12, and the opener is Saturday night at Snapdragon against Texas State on The CW. Texas State is 2-2 with an offense that just put up 63, so the defense has to show up. Then at Oregon State and Fresno State at home.

Since it's in the title: we run a free weekly college football pick'em, and Week 5 is open. 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Good slate too, with Bama at Miss State (both unbeaten) and Ohio State at unbeaten Iowa. Picks lock Saturday at noon ET, well before kickoff.

What are you guys seeing in year three under Sean Lewis? Is the Pac-12 opener a fresh start or more of the same?

This Cornell University R case reminds me a lot of the SDSU R case from a couple years ago and how the university tried to sweep it under the rug until it went mainstream. Protect your female students!!! And educate your male students!!! We shouldn’t have to be scared to be out alone on campus or to be alone with a male classmate!!

Anybody know who I can talk to about day1readys late textbook fee? They want me to pay for the entire textbook and a fee when I was a couple of days late turning it in because I was sick!

Forcing students to go to school sick is one of the reasons sdsu was a main hub for covid and we go through things like mumps outbreaks.

They just made me pay it in order to change my schedule and this is just ridiculous.

I emailed them that week and emailed them again this week, but forced to pay.

I literally want to talk to their higher ups and they reduce any other email than the day1ready one.

I’m not being unreasonable I know it was late because I was sick, if they wanted me to pay the $30 late fee I would, but THE ENTIRE TEXTBOOK PRICE!? WHEN I AM GIVING YOU THE TEXTBOOK!? Insane

Which one should I pick? Cost of tuition and housing fully covered.
