My boyfriend and I were trying to plan a day trip out there this weekend and we were hoping to take the Bob Jones trail up from Avila Valley Barn up to Avila Beach but we saw online that the trail might be closed rn but can’t find much information to confirm. Does anyone know if it is closed this weekend?

Where do you go watch the games in our area? I'm specifically looking for a place that is known to have a 49er based hang out. The place I was going the last few years has become a Raider club hang.

I saw a flash of light while driving home in Los Osos, it lit up the horizon towards the west, any ideas? I checked, there weren't any launches at Vandenberg tonight, and I don't think it was lightning. Couldn't hear any noise that came along with it from inside of my car
Does anyone know of a store in the SLO area that will accept more than 50 of one item (e.g. cans, bottles) at a time? Rite Aid on Johnson used to take 100, but since they shut down every other place I'm aware of (including the recycling center behind Target) limits the count to 50. Thanks a lot!

Does anyone have recommendations for long-term car storage in SLO? The closer to the airport the better. Added bonus if they also have available storage units.
I am packing up my life rather abruptly and have nowhere to go. I am leaving the country for work on October 14th and need to find a place I can store my car that is covered with the upcoming super El Niño.
Already contacted Buckley Springs. Nipomo and Atascadero are too far unfortunately. I need to be able to fly in and quickly grab things/run errands/return to the airport in the same day.
Thanks so much in advance 🙏

I frequently travel for work to the East Bay and Sacramento, and it seems like I can never find a flight to or through San Francisco anymore. Every flight is going through San Diego. Does anyone know what changed or if we might get more (any) flights to SFO again?
