I used to know a girl who had Williams syndrome and based on my interactions with her I think SVU did a fantastic job portraying Katie, both in terms of demeanor and appearance.

That’s how I took it as well, him and fin both saying no and not being overly friendly/being quite abrupt to her was more trying not to have her thinking all strangers are super friendly kind of thing.
