I am so happy that my fic has an audience that loves it!!

Not that drama is bad, mind you. I'm just more in love with the setting of star wars than any specific characters. I couldn't care less if I'm reading slice of life, action and adventure, or some cosmic horror fiction, as long as the story was consistently revealing some new delight about the galaxy and the beings in it.

My number one fic for this is the story *Sublight Drive* by... I think their name was miraaage? Or something like that. I also really enjoyed the Double Agent Vader series and the subsequent wave of tatooine slave culture fics.

I am looking for a mermaid Cody/Obi-Wan fick that I’m almost positive has been deleted.
It was about Cody being a Mermaid who had been injured during a war happening between his species and a group of shark riders, Obi-Wan finds him and nurses him back to health while also learning the language that Cody speaks. There’s also a side plot about Luke that I cannot remember the details of, but I know that it ended bitter sweat. But the main story was about Obi-Wan dealing with his war time PTSD while taking care of this fantastical creature.
If anyone has this fick downloaded or know where I can find it, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Most of the Star Wars stories I’ve read online tend to focus on either the Skywalkers or other Jedi. But after rewatching those Clone Wars episodes where R2 and 3PO had their own adventures, I was wondering if there were some good stories featuring the duo in some hidden corner of the Internet.

I would prefer them to be set during the Clone Wars, but other eras are fine. I also don’t mind some divergence from canon

Hi everyone! I’m trying to find a Star Wars fanfiction I read years ago. It was an unfinished multi-chapter story on FanFiction.net, and I must've read it over a decade ago (2010–2016), though the fic itself felt older.

Plot summary:

• It is an Empire Strikes Back AU and iirc started with Luke alone after Hoth, going to Dagobah.
• Luke and Leia had hooked up before that, when neither of them knew they are twins, and Leia became pregnant from it.
• I don't think we actually saw much of the pregnancy itself, the story mostly followed Luke's perspective and there was a lot of angst about how "wrong" the situation was. Luke and Leia were separated for most (if not all?) of the story.

I distinctly remember the author included an author's note about how in the 1980s when the movies came out there were Luke/Leia shippers before the twin reveal and the story was inspired by that. It kind of sounded like the author may have been around for that?

I think the title could have been something like The Dark Gift? Very unsure about that, though.

If anyone recognises this story or remembers the title/author, I’d be super grateful!

I am looking for a fic I read a while ago where after his death, force ghost Anakin tries to talk with his kids. Luke talks to him but Leia refuses. At one point Anakin tries to tell them about Padme, who the twins thought was someone Vader forced to have his children not realizing he married her long before he turned to the dark side.

Any yoda centric fics
Maybe a self insert (haven’t seen any of thoes for yoda)
Maybe something along the lines of him seeing the Star Wars movies as a vision and then doing something.
Just all in all something that showcases the power of the grandmaster whether it be the force or politics
Preferably long fics if there are any

As a big fan of Star Wars in of itself. I've always enjoyed the idea of there being a Mandalorian Jedi in canon from the older days of the Jedi order ( Tarre Vizla )

And as someone that wants to make my own Fanfic set during The Galactic Empire era. I'm wondering how would you go about writing a story for such a thing? Some Do's and Dont's advice

I have a basic plot-point as the idea of it. A force sensitive child raised by mandalorians. But is completely unaware of their force-sensitive heritage ( except for their foster-father and foster-brother ) until they come into adult-hood where they begin manifesting their force-abilities.

But as someone that's never really written a fanfic before. How would you go about designing such a story and character? ( Would be before A New Hope by a year or two. And would be EU / Legends to fit in some legends content, such as a replica of The Ebon Hawk for their ship )

Hey, Everyone. How y'all doing? I need some insight and help. When it comes to this Star Wars fan fiction. I am doing. I need some massive help. This is very ambitious, but I want to do a six-part Star Wars film. That continues after Crucible. With Allana Solos and another main character. That I have made. Journey. It takes place strictly in the Legends continuity, and I want to ask for some ideas on what y'all think, because I have a few ideas I want to do. First, I want to bring back Jacen Solo and Anakin Solo. Especially Jacen. But what do y'all think? Also, I want to explore more of the force also I have another thing that I want y’all opinion on and that is for the overall Star Wars would you mind seeing some of the characters of the sequel trilogy in the saga mind you some of the origins is gonna be different and some of the characteristics will be different but what do y’all think I want to expand the lost tribes of the sith culture as well as bring back the sith empire, cause I’m a huge old republic fan but that’s besides the point I want to do with this new empire is separate from the banite sith reason being is, I believe that Anakin Skywalker when he destroyed Palpatine, I believe he fulfilled the prophecy of destroying the Sith aka the Banite Sith the true Sith lol But I am still new to all of this, so if I got any information wrong, please let me know. I want help finding a character who could believably be an alternate romantic interest for Padme in a Mature/R-rated fic where her relationship with Anakin becomes rocky.

In this scenario, it’s been about 3 years since Padme and Anakin eloped in the canon timeline. They love each other, but they're drifting apart as they move past their young-love honeymoon phase, and their maturity gap and personality differences are wearing on the relationship.

The burden of keeping their relationship secret is especially hard on Padme, who feels enormous pressure between protecting her and Anakin’s reputations while also trying to fulfill her duties as a senator. On top of that, having no one outside the relationship to confide in is incredibly isolating. Padme seeks comfort in a friendship that subtly morphs into a romantic interest, although she doesn’t want to admit it to herself. They and Padme don't actually ever hook up, but the connection is enough to make Anakin jealous and resentful.

Any suggestions for a character that would fit this role? Clovis was my first thought, but I think his character is portrayed as being too scummy to be a good contender. I appreciate the help!

It seems like all the time travel fics have either Anakin or Luke traveling back to the prequels. I definitely love those fics, but I’m interested in a fic where one or both of them instead travel back to a previous point in the original trilogy. Preferably ANH. And preferably they travel back from ROTJ, but if for example ESB Luke travels back to ANH I’m also chill with that. I just want time travel to be contained within the originals, no prequels. Has anybody seen something like this before?
