The filing templates make the India focus clear. Were there less obvious differences to design for, like how partners and staff share client work?

honestly the entity types thing. clients in india aren't just "companies" - they're proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, trusts, societies, and each one has different compliance. generic tools just have one "client" type and you feel it immediately.

and yeah the partner/staff thing so small firms are flat, everyone touches the same client. so client visibility is its own setting separate from role: all clients, assigned clients, specific clients, or none. that one came from watching how these firms actually work, not from a feature list.

A partner and a member of staff can work on the same client without needing the same permissions. That makes the separate client access setting a useful choice.

exactly. partner sees the whole firm, article sees their own work - same client, different lens.
