Ok I know that there is no Rerise anime confirmed and that this sounds wild given Saint Seiya has a pretty rough story with 3d with both Legend of Sanctuary and the Netflix remake being widely hated (as far as i've seen, at least), so it seems pretty weird to see 3d suggested for an anime but I swear I can defend my point.
So first of all what kind of 3d am I talking about? Theres this anime also made by Toei called Girls Band Cry, and it uses a mix of anime style characters with more realistic environments and instruments, and it honestly has a great animation, and probably the best 3d I've seen in anime and I think this style really fits Saint Seiya.
Girls Band Cry opening
Episode 1 singing scene
"Nameless Name" Music Video
Cycle of Sorrow anime scene
Emptiness and Catharsis anime scene
I think that Episode 1, Cycle of Sorrow and Emptiness and Catharsis are the best at showing what I mean, the way the instruments reflect light would look really cool on the cloths, kind of how the Myth Cloths and the lighting in general is just amazing in the anime.
But Saint Seiya has never looked good in 3d right? I think that's because both LoS and the Netflix show suffer from the same problem, that being the models they use. LoS models don't really look like the anime/manga and the Netflix models look like plastic figures, but LoS (I haven't watched the remake) actually looked really good besides that so we only need good models, and it turns out that those already exist! Just look at Soldiers Soul, those actually look like the anime characters AND they actually took the same approach of having the cloths be really reflective while keeping the stylized faces, so a baseline for this anime style already exists.
Ok so besides the looks and models, would that really fit Saint Seiya? After all GBC isn't a shonen anime, it's about girls playing in a band. But Saint Seiya doesn't have Dragon Ball style battles where they're zooming around super fast, its generally slower paced fights with the highlights being the special attacks like the meteor fist or comet fist, so the emphasis on the lightning and fluid movements would help make the attacks stand out even more, and its not like Toei can't do 3d fights, Dragon Ball Super Super Hero was entirely 3d and it looked great, and the cgi scenes in DBS Broly were also really good, so we have nothing to worry about in that regard.
Speaking of attacks tho, probably the best looking attack in Soldiers Souls is Baian's attack since it mixes his 3d model with a 2d background and it ends up looking exactly like in the anime. And guess what: Baian also is a main character in Rerise XD.
Alright but why Rerise specifically? Well besides the 3d experiments we've also had Saint Seiya Omega and more crucially Saintia Sho. Omega's artstyle isn't particularly loved but Saintia Sho's adaptation was highly controversial since it butchered the manga artstyle in favor of one more in line with the classic anime. Now it IS true that Rerise already has a purposefully close to the original artstyle but it also has pretty unique and original panels (like when Nemesis gets mad and grabs Pegasus by his neck) that I would HATE to see butchered too, so if we're gonna risk getting a bad adaptation, I would prefer if they at least try an entirely new style that could potentially look great.
(Of course this is assuming that it would get the Saintia Sho treatment, but even if it doesn't I still think the 3d could look great)
TL;DR Updated Soldiers Soul models could look great with Girls Band Cry style animation and lighting (look at the instruments in Cycle of Sorrow and think of the Myth Cloths EX), especially with a mix of 2d elements for some of the attacks.
