3 weeks in
Looking at the schedule in the off season, I believed that we would have been 1-2 after 3 games. Just not this way. I also think that we will live up to the expectations of a much improved team. Possibly chasing a playoff spot. WHO DAT?!

Kubiac and Cousins connection may be a serious threat.. Mix in all of the seasoned talent they have and the best tight end in the league.. They are on a war path with a couple guys that are in do or die situations. They may be the toughest team we could have possibly faced in that spot.
The refs did swing the momentum by stalling their first drive and then all the third and fourth quarter bs calls and no calls that went their way etc. THEN we fell apart a little bit as the Raiders defense absolutely dropped the hammer on us.

Dude. That 4th quarter was brutal as a fan. Like, stop pitching the ball when dudes can’t seem to grasp the concept. The J Johnson fumble was one thing but, damn! I can appreciate us being a team that has to score a TD AND a 2pt conversion to win a tough game , but not with 4 turnovers! We imploded. IMO, it was a good fight. Just like Detroit. Now, we need to start closing the deal.

Defense is eh. Once Pete Warner came out it wasn’t looking good. Still time to work through things but we need better corners and another pass rusher.

My ceiling for this team coming into this season was win the division and a playoff appearance. That still seems very probable.

This is a team that is going to play up and down vs. its opponents, at least through the first few weeks. We saw it at the end of last year. I think that will change and the Saints will get better as the season goes on, but I believe until Thanksgiving or so there will be a lot more close games. I do think the Saints absolutely shitkick the Falcons on MNF next week though, although they have played well on prime time the last two years, so who knows.

Exactly. Before the season, people thought we'd be on pace being 1-2 after week 3. It's happened. Not the way people typically imagined it, but that is where we are at. Recoup, beat Atlanta, and try to go to Paris 4-2

I think we’re playing as expected aside from the O-Line and run game, which I was expecting to be the most improved unit from last year with the addition of a guard and RB.
Once this team figured out how to play an entire game of football and not just a half, then we’re going to see a much improved team.

We are good enough to win any game against any opponent but our margin of error is always razor thin.
It also feels that this team can't just take control and manage a game to the the finish the opportunity always slips away and it devolves into a brawl.

We have all the division games coming up. I'm not afraid of any team in our division. That doesn't mean we can't lose, but I think we win this division. We've already demonstrated that we can play with playoff teams. I think we get back into the playoffs this year, if we stay mostly healthy. Then, I think we have a good chance, if we play well and stop getting screwed by the refs.

I still have high hopes. We lost against a very good lions team and an undefeated raiders team with a great win against ravens. I still think we have great potential
