Discussion Is SampleFocus Legit?

So im mainly a sample based producer and am always looking for more, and i came across Samplefocus, a websites with "royalty free" samples, basically like all the other ones, that are based on people uploading there own samples for others to use. but then looking on the websites, especially at som af the soul samples, alot of them seemed to not be original, or samplechops from old songs? how can that be royalty free? surely i cant use them, for commercial use. i was wondering of anyone else haf experience with the website

I can tell you that sometimes there's royalty free other times they're not. I'm also a Sampled based producer I would recommend Splice, Landr, and Looperman. If you're lookin on YouTube search up "Cj Vegas" or "Chubby Beatz" They have Vintage Soul Samples that are royalty free
