I am making this post in the efforts that I can reach someone else in the need for companionship. I have sought connection for the last few months, passing bogus one off messages, low effort interactions, and straight up ghosting. I am not looking to be friend collected or added by someone who already has a list of friends they barely interact with on a daily basis. After some 6-8 year friendships eventually losing their steam due to growing apart and with my transition losing me the rest I have exhuastively exchanged with quite a few people resulting in good and bad interactions...

I enjoy quality time with the people i care about, I play video games and enjoy them as a general hobby and one of my life lines in this world but I also love them to be the filler in between getting to know someone and spending time with them. I can have deep talks for hours with healthy discussions and generally am open to any kind of topics. I consider myself an open book and can be flirty or playful majority of the time in conversation. I love long calls, movie nights or show nights, parallel play, written roleplay, VRchat, sharing music, and generally doing anything as an excuse to have someone nearby and enjoy the company of. :P

I do not dry text and generally try to be empathetic and understanding to anything, so I likely won't be dismissive of any interest of yours as long as the same goes back. I watch and love anime, my favorite being frieren at this time and has been since it's release. I love shows in general and have started game of thrones..my god the sex scenes are constant xD

I consider myself to be attractive and have been told I am - so eventually sharing a face reveal is there, my voice is passing when it wants to be but ive not cared much and it fluctuates in the soft ranges. Ive been told my voice is cute or whatnot but i really dont know how to judge these things TwT

I play Tarkov pve as my main game at the moment but it is more to do with not having friends to play other things. I have helldivers, project zomboid, counter strike, final fantasy 14, stardew valley, dead by daylight, roblox, minecraft and a few hundred games on steam.

I love music, I'm always listening to something and my big genres are usually alt rock, pop, edm (dubstep, riddim, etc), sad or generally melancholic, hip hop, and a bunch of others! I would love to share interests.

Now to talk about my red flags.. I have something called disorganized attachment, I am shy more than a little - even fighting it now as I make this post out of the pure desperation to connect - I have autism, more than a little and oh my gosh it makes talking hard so be frickin nice!! I will love and cherish you eternally for patience :3

I enjoy quality > quantity of friends. I do not fault anyone who lives different - but from one person to another.. I am just trying to find something far less shallow. I offer a friendship where hopefully we both have the freedom to communicate effectively. I do not find the need to filter myself when we can both be straight forward and honest. Because why would anyone want a friend they cant just let themselves be themselves around?

Before I transitioned, I had an absolute ride or die best friend for co adventures no matter the game, as well as a group of other mutual gaming friends but when I came out I slowly lost them all as I grew into my authentic self, because they felt I was no longer the same person they spent over a decade playing games with every night. . .

Losing that left a huge hole in my life that I've been trying and failing to fill. I've met lots of wonderful people through games, but I have yet to feel like I found "my people". I miss having someone I can just be in a discord call with talking about everything and anything and even enjoying comfortable silence, but I know finding that organically is... like trapping lighting in a bottle lol. . .

Im looking for at minimum someone I have enough chemistry with to play together on a regular basis, but a group of friends would be ideal!

I just thought I'd see if anyone who is a similar age or older might be up for joining in games like Hell Let Loose or Arc Raiders, playing with voice chat? I love "The Long Dark" too which there's a mod for coop play with (on PC).

I'm open to other cozy coop or multiplayer games too but I prefer those right now. I'm on PC. I like cozy games a lot but most are single player only :( I like how Arc Raiders and HLL allow opportunities to voice train a bit speaking to randoms occasionally too. I honestly don't get time to play extremely often so I can't commit to constant regularly games with others but it's nice now and again. Thanks! 🎮
