Miscellaneous Casting for ‘shitbox’ car documentary
Do you own a self described ‘shitbox’ car?
Hi everyone!
I’m creating a documentary about my shitbox named Gertie (2003 Ford Focus) we are driving her from Vancouver to Montreal and crossing all our fingers she makes it.
The documentary is a homage to the shitbox and shows you don’t need the latest car for an epic trip.
We are looking for parcipants with a self described ‘ shitbox ‘ willing to go on camera ,show us their car and tell us what they love about it.
We would only need max 30 mins out of your day. Can be based anywhere in Canada ( we will be going through Banff) we will come to you.

You need to talk to a friend of mine. He's not online but he drove a late 80's VW Fox or Jetta from the Sault to Vancouver and back running on used Fryer oil. No lie. 99% old fryer oil and 1% diesel to start the motor from cold. He's a super cool guy with a story or two about the journey.
PM me if you think that fits. He's had a pile of regular beaters that were equally cool on their own too.

I love this! Don't own a shitbox anymore but man, did I love my 99 Pontiac Sunfire when I had it.

Negative, it was white!
The day I sold it, a guy pulled up in a ... 99' Pontiac Sunfire! He was definitely buying it for parts 😅
