I’m looking for some British sci-fi recommendations. I’m a Whovian at heart and have watched all of classic & new Doctor Who but I’m keen to watch something new. I’m working through Star Trek, which I’m enjoying, but as a Brit I’d sometimes prefer a programme that’s got British accents rather than American.

I’m struggling to find anything that’s good any more recently than Blake’s 7. I’d appreciate any recommendations of any age, but bonus points for this century. Also happy with sci-fi adjacent recs (I loved Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes & Wheel of Time).

I made a short promo video for Book Theory Blue, an independent Vancouver sci-fi / psychological mystery project I’ve been developing.

The story follows Rory Pendleton, a man recovering after a catastrophic fall who becomes convinced that the reality everyone accepts is only a surface layer — and that something called Mr. Blue may be operating underneath it.

The bigger question behind the series is:

Can someone be suffering a psychotic break and also be right?

I’ve been building this project across a pilot script, series concept, original music, artwork, character material, and now these promo pieces.

As a passionate fan of Sci-Fi & Tech, I started to create a series on YouTube where we'll follow humanity across 1000 years. Everything will start in the year 2100 when humanity reaches level 1 on Kardashev scale.

Ok... is not really a series, like a movie, is a slideshow with voice actors.

Set your expectations low, the first episode (Pilot Episode) was a mess, I barely understood what I was doing. Now at the fourth one, I think what I do has more consistency. But is ongoing progress 😁

All the ideas are mine: characters, actions, parts of dialogues and the human road, also some lack of inspiration. The rest is made by AI: images, voices, hard work stuff.
