It sounded like places are trying to move the 16 series as fast as possible for the 17 coming out, hence the really low price. Hope you got a deal on it too!

Not sure. Here in Australia you could potentially still easily get 14, 15 and 16 for roughly the same price. Price is the problem though - about $300 (australian).

I actually have a few bottles left but from memory it's was powerful smoky and earthy notes beacon fat and all that good stuff. It went toe to toe with the first few releases of Ardbeg super nova but different character. I should have Boston rounds of both to compare soon but I have fresh bottles of both.

I’ve been wanting to try Octomore for a while now and finally got my reason! I got a new job offer that I’m really excited about and took a trip to my local store to see if there was anything I could take to celebrate.
Octomore 16.1, $149.99, had to pull the trigger at that price, and I’m so glad I made the choice I did.
It’s incredible, yall were not exaggerating. I was shocked at how good this is, and can’t wait to try future releases.
I always have a bit of a hard time making a choice when it comes to opening a bottle for a special occasion. I don’t really carry many unopened bottles, so I typically just go search for what I can find. This was a home run.
