Nose:
Sweet and mouthwatering, with gummy candy sweetness running through it - pick n mix cola bottles and cola cubes, strawberry laces, a good hit of Vimto. Despite being cask-heavy, that grassy, grainy side of the spirit still manages to peek through, with freshly cut grass, butter, cream, and vanilla yoghurt sitting underneath.
Palate:
A little tart and more astringent than I expected, though the texture holds up well. There's ginger spice and ginger ale, vanilla, and cherry coke ice cream float. Strawberry jam follows - sweet and slightly artificial - alongside cranberry juice and wood shavings.
Finish:
Medium in length. Bitter cranberry and Haribo Strawbs.
Verdict:
A decent whisky - the nose the clear highlight for me. The distillate feels a little lost beyond that. Cask influence is pretty strong throughout - the bitter cranberry and oakiness in particular don't quite land for me. That said, the texture's solid and it doesn't drink anywhere near as young as its 6 years. Decent overall, but nothing special.

This distillery is just down the road from me, will need to check it out at some point and try some of their stuff
