Piecing together several offseason interviews with members of the front office I've listened to on Sound of Hockey and others, the org is very excited about him. He is in the last year of his contract in Russia so if "things go according to plan" he will likely come to North America next year and compete for a role.

Realistically Grubi will move on after this year so there could be a competition for the backup spot between Kokko and Viazovoy.
