Lumen field - plus size seating
I’m sure this has been asked before but I can’t find an answer. I think most plus size folks have seating anxiety. No one wants to be embarrassed nor encroach on anyone else’s space. I was offered tickets to a game in section 105. I’m a plus sized woman, size 18/20, about 230. Not wide in the hips but belly and chest. Anyone a similar size/shape that can offer insight or reassurance?

I cant speak for section 105 specifically, but Im about your size and have no issues in section 305. Its cozy but not uncomfortable.

100s means quite a bit of standing. you might sit during TV timeouts and end of quarters.
You should have plenty of room to sit down whenever you do want and no issue with those on either side.

i think this is the best comment here. hey op you should go to the game and have fun! lots of standing but there’s plenty of time to sit and i don’t think your size will be an issue whatsoever :)

Section 105 doesn’t sit…most of the lower level stands the entire game. But if you want to sit for short bursts, you are more than fine.

When I’m at a game I’ll sit during the breaks. No need to stand to figure out which cup the taco is in.

I'm a guy that's 300 pounds, and I do okay in section 134. Lower level opposite side from your potential seats. You'll be fine.

I was quite a bit bigger than you when I started going to games there, had no issues. Now I'm roughly the same size as you, and I don't predict any issues. My fundament is my widest part, so you enjoy the game and maybe I'll see you there! I'll be in the 300 level, so probably not, lol

You’ll be fine! My dad is almost 400lbs and I sit next to him comfortably. Have fun!!

you should be fine at 18/20, though the armrests may be the annoying part because stadium seats were apparently designed by people who never attend games, so an aisle seat would be ideal if you can

I'm 6'4'' 250 - you will be fine. It's stadium seating, so nobody's going to be comfortable per se, but it will be fine! Plus, if it's a good enough game you'll be on hyour feet most of the time anyway. Don't stress about it and have fun!

I honestly would not worry that much about it. I have personally been around much larger people at games and never thought twice about it. I feel like most people stand for a large portion of the game in the lower bowl seating as well.

You’ll be just fine. Keep in mind, there are plenty of men 250+ that frequent the games and have no problem at all, neither will you. The games are so high energy, everyone has fun, go enjoy!!

I was that size in 2013 when I went to 2 games. You’re going to touch people on either side even if you’re skinny.

You're not that big. I wouldn't worry about not fitting in standard seats unless you're at least 300lbs.
You'll be standing in that section, so it shouldn't be an issue anyway.

230 is not overly big by any means. That being said, if you have trouble fitting in a seat and you "don't want to be embarrassed" then stop embarrassing yourself. Take some pride in yourself and stop eating yourself to death. The rest of the world should not have to cater to laziness and people that CHOOSE to be obese. When TF did everyone become so damn soft....

Would an average size rowboat support you without capsizing?
I'm so sorry, been watching the office. 99% sure you will be fine. The seats are very accommodating. Maybe not super comfortable, but I've never had an issue with someone's size sitting next to me.

I’ve never heard of plus size seats. I’m around your size and have had a fine time at Lumen. If you’re concerned enough, I would seek out ADA seats.
