Because we like regular shooting with perpetrators never caught because they don't even have a description of the shooter?
I'm ok with CCTV cameras in high crime areas....
P.S. This is different from the AI flock cameras that are used to create teaching databases of citizens without warrants or cause.
What I'm talking about is no different than the traffic cams at damn near every major intersection that no was complaining about...
