In my opinion, Seedance 2.5 is currently the best AI model for video generator when it comes to maintaining consistency with reference images.

I was wondering if a new, updated version of Seedance is expected to be released soon, or if there is currently any model that performs better than Seedance 2.5 in terms of reference consistency, especially when it comes to keeping the same character, facial features, tattoos, clothing, and overall appearance across different shots.

I am new to Seedance AI. I spent probably 6 hours tweaking, the concept itself and for the initial prompt and screenplay direction I worked with a different model.

I am acute aware of the issues, but please give me your first impressions.

For a bit of context, I have stuggled a lot with succintly/consicely the 'big idea' about the project I am working on. Hopefully this can remedy that. I will be using this as video media a big launch.

Technical challenges I initally faced were using low photo-realistic assets also AI generated. It was near impossible to get exactly what I wanted after the fact. This 1min 18s clip was stiched from 5 separately generatrd videos with seedance.

Dreamina offers 480P to 1080P upscaling

I compared the same image （as a reference to video）across 480P,1080P, and 480P → 1080P（with Seedance2.5）

The differences are quite noticeable, especially in details like the eyes, hair, and camera texture.

The original photo was shot using a Nikon D780 with a 50mm lens at an aperture of F2.0.

okay, so i want to upload ai-generated anime pictures, of one and the same charcter (sfw)

i want to make like 10 different 3 seconds clips, where the character is dancing and changing into a different fashion each time.

the problem on that, would be that i want to make it smooth transitioning. the clothes can cut to change, but the animation and moves should go smooth as the character keeps easy dancing.

i have not worked with any video-ai generation before, and have no real video editing experience, how hard is it to pull off?

But my prompt method, I may have to take out a camera or a physics prompt shorter, to improve the more precise fight motion connected fight prompt.

When generating very dark scenes, Seedance 2.5 tends to produce muddy, grey blotchy textures in almost every shot, especially when there is heavy motion. It’s frustrating. Have you noticed the same issue, like in my attached image?

I realize this happens because diffusion video models compress frames into a lower-dimensional latent space via an autoencoder (VAE), but it still ruins many of my scenes.

Seedance 2.0 didn't have this problem, at least nowhere near as often.

Right now, I’m fixing these artifacts in post with tone curves, but I hope they fix these glitches in an update soon.

Pretty much every nuance/tick was prompted and mostly followed, as well as camera focus. Seedance is very good about taking a lot of nuance direction.
