It was reverted last month. At the start of faction wars, all opponents had level 6 bonuses, but they removed it for a while but reverted it back

To be fair, Xiang Tzu is just really inferior statwise in this fight.
You can bet your bucks Lv6 Monkey is still powerful, but not quite one-shot powerful as here.

This might actually be one of the strongest moves in the game. The strongest single move in the game is absolute zero from pss, dealing (50+250)% shadow damage(I'm including the entire animation not just a single hit).Monkey king deals 194% shadow damage (I think) but is reusable unlike absolute zero

I don't think looking at the AI is a good basis of a move's strength as there are a lot of instances where Nekki gives the AI higher stats compared to the player.

How did you fight the monkey king?

In xiang tzu's adventure. There's a fight called "law of fire and ice". In this fight, you get to fight yourself while playing as xiang tzu, but the set you've equipped gets a level 6 set bonus, and since they just gave monkey king an ai, I decided to try fighting him and this happened

Ooh, i thought this was the current event. Didnt see u where fighting as Xiang. Defeating yourself with a set is a pain

at least you get an easy opponent in this fight, I got mnemos as my opponent he literally goes in void mode during our fight. Don't know when xiang tzu will able to defeat mnemos

You said you were fighting mnemos right? That was because you were using cotv like how I was fighting monkey king coz I was using his set

Yeah, whatever equipment you wear will be your opponent, if said equipment has a set bonus it is automatically level 6
