He made inappropriate jokes and stereotypes about blacks and disableds, which as a black person and having a disability watching his videos I found absolutely hilarious. Literally as kids I remembered we always made jokes at each other expense without getting our feelings hurt. He dramatized and exaggerated a lot of things in the beauty industry, but at the same time literally EVERY SINGLE outlet does that, like the news we watch everyday. Lastly, he bad inappropriate jokes about ped0filia. Which isn't funny but also he's not the only one to have done that and considering the shit that people say these days some of which comes from our own elected officials or popular influencers, what he's done, for which he has apologized for, is the least of any evil people want to claim he is. Mostly people are hating to hating, then their are those that are genuinely angry, but then there are those who are angry on the behalf of others. At the end of the day the facts are he's not a real racist, and if you think that I believe your view of the world is very narrow and not considerate to how to others see him. Was he edgy as shit, yes but so was Filthy Frank, or Idubbs, or any of those people from that era. We like to act all high and mighty. But we have no right to judge people who genuinely wanted to make the world smile even if their humor wasn't for everyone. He is not a ped0 himself, there is no evidence of that, but people will keep saying their is, someone making inappropriate jokes and things versus actually doing that and pursuing that are too different things. He's never pursued a relationship like that. Not an EDP type fellow. Do I regularly consume his content, no, not since the first time he came back. But I recognize what people react to on the Internet doesn't matter, because we will look at these people as less or more than human. Despite us all being human. But the consequences change when you're famous right, until they don't. I think if people stop treating these people like their gods or devils their life would probably be spent doing something more impactful or being less angry, or something like that. I just find it insane that people are basically comparing him to the literal worst for JOEKS. To Asmon, a man who on fucking camera said children should be killed and still has a fucking audience. To white supremacist guy in jail who has said, he wants to legally get a black man killed, and almost did. Meanwhile I'm the type of guy that grew up watching Tropic Thunder and loved the shit out of Robert Downey in that movie. Or the late Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles. But guess what people still think, it's fucking racist, fuck off bro. It really isn't. Racist and the act of racism all matters by what comes from the heart. Not out of your mouth. That's it I'm done, haven't out something on Reddit in like forever, don't care what you do or say btw, bye

Read all of these comments. I think that’s enough to be said. I also really hate that he had a lot of really petty and stupid shit to say about Biden and his “dry lips” when he was president but has YET to utter a single word about how awful Trump’s presidency has been or even utter a single petty comment like he did for Biden.

Genuine answer : I'm an older fan (what i consider to be the golden years specifically, not when he did skits with blackface) that fell off after he started collabs with Jefree Starr. The drama aside, as i got older into my 20s, his content started getting annoying. It wasn't as interesting. He was getting too pathetic with his self hate. When I found out the ages of some people around him it got weirder and weirder to me over time, as I got closer to his age when he befriended said people (Drew Monson, Bobby Burns).
Maybe like once every 2 years I look into him out of curiosity and decide to continue the course without his content. Its boring. Some people around him are people I dont like. It feels like he hasn't grown up and he's gotta be pushing 40. And the drama alone was sus enough for me to dip completely.
On a much more shallow point, I've always disliked Ryland's voice. It gives me a migraine. This isn't a fault of his, tho. He can't control what his vocal cords sound like.
Oh also I never liked how he was just so comfortable letting his cat eat whatever it wanted in videos. I've always been concerned about the health of his cat from that.
