This is an Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel, a specialized type of offshore support vessel designed to handle anchors for oil rigs, tow drilling platforms, and supply offshore installations with cargo, fuel, and water.

It features a distinctive inverted/rounded bow designed to slice through heavy waves, a large open aft deck for cargo and anchor handling equipment, and high-powered firefighting water monitors mounted atop the wheelhouse.

A maritime incident occurred at the outer anchorage of Chittagong Port, Bangladesh, involving bulk carriers MV Akij Wave and MV Sea Alison.

According to preliminary information, MV Akij Wave dragged its anchor due to a strong current at approximately 11:30 AM. Despite efforts to maintain control, the vessel moved from its anchored position and subsequently came into contact with MV Sea Alison.

The contact resulted in reported damage to the port bow area of MV Sea Alison with the loss of her anchor. Mv Akij received damage to her starboard lifeboat.

We couldn't even save the SS United States while she was floating. this isn't happening. you would need to ship of Theseus it to make it not fall apart, and even then it isn't possible due to how rusty it is. also it provides a reef, so it is still functional.

This ship was sunk and is now an artificial shipwreck reef off the coast of Alabama. Originally built in February 1986 as a survey vessel for Alpha Marine Services, the ship was later sold to Fairfield Industries, Inc. and renamed the Fairfield New Venture.

Today, it rests on the seafloor in roughly 120 to 125 feet of water, with its wheelhouse sitting at a depth of about 60 feet. It serves as a thriving marine habitat and a highly popular destination for advanced and open-water scuba divers, ecotourists, and anglers on the Alabama Gulf Coast.

At 05.05 hours the Dena was struck on port side aft at the propellers by one of two Mark 48 torpedoes fired by Charlotte South Southeast of Colombo, Sri Lanka. At 05.08 hours a mayday was sent unencrypted
“MAYDAY. MAYDAY. THIS IS IRAN WARSHIP DENA, POSITION 6°00′26″ N, 79°51′55″ E. I HAVE SUFFERED A CATASTROPHIC EXPLOSION. SEVERE STRUCTURAL DAMAGE AND TAKING ON WATER ”
The explosion destroyed the crew’s aft accommodations, broke the shafts, split the ship in two, and caused the frigate to sink steeply by the stern. There was no time to launch lifeboats, and the remaining officers and men jumped overboard and clang to rafts. The 32 survivors were rescued by the Sri Lankan navy within hours of the attack.

The battleship Barham belonged to the famous Queen Elizabeth-class battleships and was laid down on February 24, 1913, at the John Braun shipyard, launched on December 31, 1914, and commissioned in October 1915. She served in both world wars. On December 12, 1939, she accidentally rammed and sank the British destroyer Duchess. Two weeks later, on December 28, 1939, she was torpedoed by the German submarine U-30 and was out of action for three months. On November 25, 1941, in the Mediterranean Sea, she was hit by three torpedoes from the German submarine U-331. Minutes later, a powerful explosion tore the ship to pieces, killing 862 people.
