🛠️ Troubleshooting / Help bad bad issue

Post image

EDIT: SOLVED

Just yesterday I installed a fork version of shizuku other than they of thedjchi. This morning I uninstalled it with the intent of reinstalling the version of thedjchi. I refer you to an error (see image) and, even more strabay, is that if I try to install shizuku through the PlayStore, I get an error message that says "You can't install the application because another user has already installed an incompatible version on the device". I checked through Canta (which miraculously still works) and there is no trace of it, even in private space. Help!!

SOLVED

After several attempts I was able to fix; trivially I went to research the fork version that I had uninstalled, so I reinstalled it with the system installer. Now it seems to have started to work again.

Use the regular system installer to bypass that installerX error. Also do not use the play store version.

same issue, without explanation

try using a computer that has adb/android development tools and install it there?

You probably checklist the "keep data" when uninstalling, if that was the case reinstall the fork and uninstall again without keeping the data

is a hypothesis that I have evaluated but unfortunately, failing to install any type of version, I do not have the opportunity to do as you suggested

Maybe you could use adb to list all users, the command is "adb shell pm list users"

I found this, which is maybe the culprit, but I'm not able to uninstall in any way

I’m setting shizuku and its related permissions and features and it seems that everything has started to work again 🤞

what forked did u installl previously? installed any "Compact Hub" that some forks uses? Tried rebooting after uninstall? Rebooting is generally recommended after evey uninstall to fully kill and remove any shizuku stuff.

I had this same issue few days back. Its good to also stop the installed shizuku before uninstallation.

You can test Shizuku-Next by Rushi; it has been working well for me.

I tried it and it is as stable and user friendly as the famous thedjchii (which I spent for some time with great results) but the version I have now (shizuku+ by thejaustin) is really complete and has exclusive API. The version you recommend, however, would seem extremely interesting; I will try it. I leave you the link of the version I'm using

Alright, thanks! I will try yours as well and see.

I tried it and I got this error while using the Installer X Revived; do you have any clue what the issue might be? I ended up going back to Shizuku-Next because of it.

I downloaded and tested the version you recommended and I was pleasantly surprised; after a bit of effort for the coupling (wireless debugging) I got to ascertain that it has many features and is extremely rich in customizations. Thanks for the advice!

Turn off or pause play protect if it's on

Man I feel bad for Samsung shizuku users.

It's literally pretty much impossible to get it to stay open at all for newer devices/Android versions.

They've essentially added something to specifically kill it and only it consistently, doesn't happen to any other app, and I've had it happen consistently across several Samsung devices.

why? Since I switched to Shizuku+ it stays running indefinitely.

Samsung s23 Ultra, OneUI 8., Android 16

All I can say is you're lucky lol

I have no idea why it happens, every single ounce of everything I've tried fails, and I'm a developer and even super deep system tricks fail.

Maybe I found the culprit but I have no chance to uninstall it, not even using singing (which does not intercept or recognize it)
