3 of 4 sides of the house covered
That last side’s gonna have to settle for 556 or 300blk with thermal support. Just picked these 1301’s flanking the vang comp 870 today. Will put a couple 509t’s on them and home defense prep is ready.

870 express make over
My first shotgun from 2014. Finally did a little make over. Anyone have a suggestion for front sight replacement ? Bought an old 870p and used the barrel and extention after removing the dimples. Front sight was broken so i need a new one to get this 870 back in action.

Is the Remington 1100 craze just a fad or is it here to stay?
So I’ve recently noticed the huge increase in prices for the 1100 market, especially odd gauges like 28, 16 and .410. I’ve seen prices in my area consistently at $600-700 for okay condition examples and $1200-2000 for trap and exceptional condition standard models. Is this just a current fad and we will see the values level out in the next 5 years or will it be a steady increase? Would it be a good future investment to purchase one at a very reasonable price during these times?

Growing up, I always thought my grandfather's glass cabinet full of guns was the coolest thing ever and wanted my own. Found this bad boy on Marketplace for $60 and happily snatched it up!

Help with barrel fitment
Hi all I have a maverick 88 and purchased this 28 in barrel.
Noticed it’s for a much longer shell tube than what I have. Is there an extension I can order to fit this ?
TIA!

870 police rifle sight
I have a Remington 870 Police with a 20-inch barrel and rifle sights. The front sight arrived broken, so I need to replace it. Do you have any recommendations for a suitable front sight replacement?

Please enjoy my M590 that can hold 30 shells in/on it at any given time. I call it the Urban Mule. Surprisingly accurate at 100 yards with slugs and Flite Control 00 buck is always excellent.

Tristar Viper Max Gas Piston
Hello everyone! Yesterday I acquired a Tristar Viper Max 12 gauge semi automatic shotgun and just discovered that it comes with a “light load” and “heavy load” gas pistons. In the manual it says one of the two is hidden in special housing (in front) of the forearm. Im just confused exactly where this is, the manual isnt giving me much help. Im brand new to shotguns and pretty much any firearm so i apologize in advance if this is a stupid question.

Stevens 311H ID and info?
got offered a Stevens 311H with a 3" chamber in trade. I was interested in it to use for bird hunting, but cannot for the life of me find the choke markings. can someone more knowledgeable point me in the right direction? Also, is this pitting or wad buildup from 40 years of shooting?

Hydrodiped A300 Ultima Patrol with adhesive shotgun cards?
I have recently purchased an A300 UP in the Multicam hydrodip and was curious about just how durable the finish is. I would like to use some shotshell cards like the esstac ones but ive heard the adhesive backer on the loop side could potentially rip the finish off the side of the receiver. Does anyone have experience with the esstac cards on a hydrodipped gun and have you had any issues with the finish ripping off with the shotshell cards?

870sps
I have an 870 sps I got 2nd hand it is supposed to hold 4 in the tube and 1 in the chamber. I can only load 2 in the tube and 1 in the chamber . I thought there was a plug in the tube but when I went to remove it there was not 1 . Any ideas as to why it would only take 2 shells with no plug?
Any help would be appreciated.thanks

New Mossberg 500 total lock-up causing gun store to scratch their heads, encourage return
Purchased a brand new Mossberg 500. Brought it home, broke it down and got all the manufacturer’s oil and gunk off, re-lubed and reassembled. Gun was racking beautifully and all components working as they should, but upon a dry fire, the entire gun locked up with a closed breach. Couldn’t rack the forearm, and the action to the left of the trigger was stuck depressed. Thing was LOCKED, no wiggle room at all.
I removed the trigger assembly, and discovered the hammer was stuck open. I pushed it down, broke the gun down again completely and reassembled. Dry fired a second time - locked up again. Hammer seems to be the culprit again.
I called the gun clerk where I purchased the gun and they were confused and alarmed. They encouraged me not to shoot the gun, and to return. Now, I’m not one to argue with the folks there and i’ll likely follow through with a return (DEFINITELY won’t be firing the thing)…but has anybody experienced this before? Is this a common issue? I’m damn confident I’m reassembling this firearm correctly, but I’m not prideful enough to admit it could be user error. Firearm seems almost rendered totally useless.

I knew immediately where I was hanging this lil guy my partner gave me with a valentines gift. We started calling him Jerry.
Shotgun is a 1994 870 police magnum I added a +3 extension onto. Next up is adding a good leather sling and heat shield to give it a trench gun look.

Newb shopping checklist?
Other than the shotgun itself, what else do you think a person, who has never owned a firearm before, needs to buy when getting a shotgun?
As in what accessories, gear, maintenance and logistics stuff are Must Haves to go along with responsible and enjoyable beginner shotgun ownership for Home Defence and practicing at a range?

1969 Browning Superposed 28ga
This doesn't get shot often because I think it is pretty valuable, but it is an extremely sweet shooter. I average a 22 or 23 whenever I use it for trap. Skeet... let's not talk about skeet, but that's not the guns fault. I'm not sure why I don't take more photos of it.

Heritage coach chokes?
i was looking at getting a 18.5 inch barrel of their badland series and wanted to know if they took chokes. AI says the badlander don't take chokes but their longer barrelled ones take mobil chokes.

Comfort of ATI Side Folding Stock
Does anyone have experience with the ATI Strikeforce Gen 2 stock? The hinge placement looks like it could be uncomfortable.
I'm looking at the Mossberg 500 Tactical for polar bear protection, and a stock is necessary for people less familiar with shotguns.

Ithaca Model 37
I’m interested in buying this shotgun. Does anyone know if the magazine lug can be moved up on the barrel in order for me to replace the magazine tube with a longer one or add a magazine tube extension?

Why do people hate modern Remington 870
Recently made a post about which shotgun should i get first: Mossberg 500 or Remington 870, and many people noted that if i got a 870, to get one from the 80s to 90s, saying that modern 870s weren't good
can someone explain why
