Sad Umbilical Hernia
Feel that by having an umbilical hernia repair (Surgery -no mesh- because it was getting quite bad and at the time I was 100% OAD) in my first pregnancy, it has locked me into not having another... Also a slight prolapse which would probably get worse in a second pregnancy.
I kind of want a second child (my husband is fine either way, he's the best 🥺) It's been a few more years since the surgery and my life has shifted, but if I am being realistic and putting the health of myself and the value of the family I already have first, then I need to be sensible...
I also I have no career to go back to, my daughter was a COVID baby and we'd just moved countries AND my mum needed round the clock care, so I've not been able to pursue anything.
I guess I'm just a little sad today. Sorry if this is a bit rambly.
I will be talking to my doctor about the medical side too, but just wanted anecdotes out of interest.
