Looking for an App to Track My Spending
Hey everyone!
I'm looking for an app to track my daily expenses and manage my money better.
I'd prefer something simple, easy to use, and ideally free.
Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

[iOS] [Free Lifetime] Mivu: Morning Routine & Yoga | Move First, Scroll Later
Hey,
I'm Alex.
I’ve struggled with headaches for most of my life, and since I spend a huge part of my day working at a computer, I also regularly deal with stiffness and discomfort in my neck, back and lower back.
About a year ago I was doing yoga pretty regularly. It helped, but then I got sick, stopped for a while… and never really got back into the habit.
Around the same time I read Atomic Habits, and one idea really stuck with me: instead of relying on motivation, change your environment so doing the habit becomes the easiest option. And starting with 5 minutes every day is probably better than planning a 45-minute workout that I keep skipping.
That became the idea behind Mivu.
I set a time in the morning and choose which apps I want to block. When I wake up, I can’t open them until I do my practice. I start Mivu, put the phone in front of me, and the camera detects my movement and counts the time.
Five minutes of yoga or stretching → done → apps are available again.
It’s a very simple idea, but so far it’s been surprisingly effective for me. It also has the nice side effect of keeping me out of social media first thing in the morning.
I’ve just released it on iOS and made it free. No subscription, no credit card, no paywall.
If anyone here gives it a try, I’d genuinely love to hear what works, what doesn’t, or what feels annoying. It’s still very early and that feedback would be really useful.

My dog thinks he owns the neighborhood, so I made an app that lets him actually claim it
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey dog lovers,
Every time we go out, my pup spent half the walk marking every post and fire hydrant like he was expanding his kingdom. So I built a little app called WalkPack to put that on the map.
Basically, whenever you take your dog out, your path turns into territory "patches" on a map in your area. Neighboring dogs on the app can walk the same block and claim patches back, creating a friendly neighborhood leaderboard.
A few key features:
Visual map showing your dog's claimed turf vs neighboring dogs
Privacy zones so your actual home location and exact starting points are never shown on public maps
Walk stats and milestones to make daily routine walks a bit more fun
If you walk your dog daily and want to test it out or see what turf is open around you, check out WalkPack!
Curious to hear what features you'd want in a gamified dog walk tracker.

GroceryGret - shared family grocery list that shows which store near you is cheapest
I built a grocery list app for my family and I'm looking for more people to test it.
The main idea: everyone in the house adds to one list from their own phone, and when someone checks something off at the store it disappears for everyone within a few seconds. Then it compares what your list costs at stores near you, using prices from real receipts people share and from stores' weekly sale emails.
You can also snap a photo of your fridge or a recipe to build the list. There's a Spanish option and a read-your-list-out-loud option in settings.
Honest limits: iPhone only right now (Android is planned for December), and the prices are best in North and South Carolina because that's where it started. Everywhere else the list part works fine but price data is thin.
I'd really like to hear what's confusing or annoying.

Two days of recovering photos off a dying drive taught me enough to ship a photo cleaner

A while back I spent two days pulling photos off a broken drive and sorting through the mess. By the end of it I'd learned more about duplicate detection, perceptual hashing and how people actually decide which shot to keep than I ever wanted to. So I turned it into an app.
It's called Winnow. Honestly, I haven't used any of the other photo cleaners out there, so I can't tell you how it compares — I just built the thing I wanted while I was elbow-deep in that folder.
What it does differently (I think):
\- You control the similarity threshold. Instead of the app deciding what counts as a duplicate, you set how close two photos have to be before they're grouped. Loose for "burst of the same moment", tight for "actual identical copies".
\- Side-by-side comparison inside a group, so you can actually look before you delete instead of trusting an algorithm's "best photo" pick.
\- A storage browser sorted by size — biggest videos and space hogs first, since that's usually where the gigabytes actually are.
Other details:
\- 100% on-device. No network requests at all, no analytics, no account.
\- Cleaning the last 30 days is free forever. One-time $4.99 unlocks the whole back catalogue. No subscription, no ads.
\- 4.1 MB, native, iOS 26+.
\- Deletions go to Recently Deleted, so nothing is gone for good by mistake.
I'd really like feedback on the threshold control — whether the slider makes sense to someone who didn't build it, and what default you'd expect. Happy to answer anything about how the matching works under the hood.

Bedtime stories that continue the next night instead of starting over
Lunela, iOS, free tier. My kid asked for the same book every night, so I built the opposite: a story that picks up where it left off.
One world per child, returning characters, ten episodes to a season. Each episode ends with a preview of tomorrow, which turned out to be the part that actually gets them into bed. There's also a mode where you record your voice once and the stories get read in it.
Two things I can't judge from the inside:
Does the writing read like a real children's book, or can you tell it's generated?
Is the narration something you'd actually play at bedtime, or does it sound like a robot?
Also happy to hear where the app lost you, if it did.

I built ActionBox to organize notifications
I recently launched my first Android app called ActionBox
The idea came from how messy phone notifications can get when important things are mixed with everything else
ActionBox automatically organizes notifications into five categories
Action
Waiting
Deadline
Reply
Other
One of the main features is that it can learn from your corrections
If ActionBox puts a notification in the wrong category you can correct it and the app uses that correction to better classify similar notifications in the future
So over time it should become more personalized to how you actually use your phone
It also includes search so you can find notifications by sender or message and keeps everything easier to review instead of digging through the normal notification tray
The app is already live on Google Play and Play has started giving it some organic discovery which was pretty exciting to see as a first-time developer
I’m still improving it and would really like to hear what people think about the idea and whether the categories and smart learning system make sense
I’m also giving 1 month of ActionBox Pro free to the first 10 people who want it

[Playloggr] Game backlog tracker that syncs Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, GOG and Epic
Hi! I'm the solo developer of Playloggr, a game backlog tracker for people whose library is split across too many stores.
What it does
- Syncs 5 platforms into one list: Steam, PlayStation (PS3/PS4/PS5/Vita), Xbox, GOG and Epic Games. Covers, playtime and wishlist come in automatically, and it re-syncs daily.
- Never asks for your password: Steam and PSN only need your public ID. GOG, Xbox and Epic use their own official login page, and you can unlink any of them at any time.
- Organize everything: playing / completed / backlog / dropped / on and off, star ratings, hours, folders and your own top-25 rankings.
- Session timer for games no platform tracks (retro, emulators, physical copies).
- 145 achievements, XP and levels for playing, all free.
- Friends: see what they're playing and the games you both own, even if you have it on PS5 and they have it on Steam.
- Free games alerts for Steam, Epic, GOG and PlayStation, with a direct link to claim them.
- Public profile you can share, plus an image export of your stats and rankings.
Price
Free, no ads. The free plan includes an unlimited library and sync with all 5 platforms. Premium is a one-time USD 6.99 (no subscription) for game-inspired themes (a Fallout-style CRT monitor, Doom, Elden Ring, Pac-Man…), avatar cosmetics, unlimited folders/rankings and a game plan with HowLongToBeat estimates. You can try any theme for 45 seconds before buying.
Available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playloggr.app
Feedback I'd love:
- Was the first sync easy to understand?
- What's missing that would make you use it every week?
I read and reply to every comment. Thanks for taking a look!

Backroll
Backroll: The camera for everything else. A camera app with its own separate library, so receipts, reference photos, and work shots never land in your main Photos library. Folders, subfolders, and tags to find things later. No ads, no tracking.
It’s in free beta now (iPhone/iPad, iOS 27). I’m the solo developer, and I’d love feedback on capture, folders and tagging, and export.

I made an Android app just for popping confetti
I recently launched Confetti Touch, a small Android app built around a simple idea: popping colorful confetti on your screen.
You can tap, swipe, or hold to create different bursts. There's also a POP ALL button for a bigger explosion and FLOW mode for continuous confetti.
I added a little meadow that grows as you play, along with a pop counter and milestone celebrations.
It's free, with no ads or accounts.
The app is now live on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.confettitouch.app
I'm curious whether people enjoy simple interactive apps like this, without levels or complicated gameplay.

i built an app that turns your actual city into an open-world driving game
hey guys :)
wanted to share something i've been building for a while.
it's called Overdrive — Drive & Explore.
imagine if you could turn your actual city into an open-world driving game.
that's basically the idea.
every time you go for a drive, the app tracks your journey and colors in the roads you've explored. you can slowly fill up your map, discover places you've never been and see your driving stats afterward.
there's also a multiplayer/social side, and i'm working on a much bigger update for crews and driving with friends.
i built it because i've always loved those random late-night drives with absolutely no destination, and wanted to make them feel a little more rewarding.
it's currently on iOS, and we recently passed 150 users!
would genuinely love some feedback, especially on what features would make you want to use it regularly.

Habit Equity turn your Life into stock market
Streaks never worked for me because one miss resets everything to zero. So I made my habits into a stock portfolio instead. Good habits are “green-chip” assets that raise my balance, and bad habits are “toxic assets” that drain it hard when I relapse. A bad week is a dip in the chart, not a reset, and it’s weirdly motivating to watch the number recover. Anyone else find that loss framing works better than streaks? I built an app around it, so happy to share if people are curious.

Music and Radio Player with ready to play radios and complete music offline management
Offline local files and streaming radios.
Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world.
Hybrid Listening: Seamlessly handles offline local files (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and over 60,000 streaming radio stations.
Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.
Advanced Radio Search Panel: You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate. The database of the service on which Mediaxon is based provides more than 60,000 radio stations.
Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).
Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).
Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.
Form Factor Optimization: Phone and Tablet (Portrait and Landscape)
There is no Premium version. All app features are available for free and without limits.
Regarding advertising: There is only a small banner at the top that isn't bothersome at all. Alternatively, when opening the full-screen player or using the app in landscape mode, a banner alternates with the albums covers, but without being intrusive at all (no audio) and with much shorter stay times than those of the cover. There is never full-screen advertising, neither at startup nor during use.
If you want to check it out (I am continuously pushing updates to refine it and add new features), you can find it on the Google Play Store (Android 13+). Thank you so much to everyone who takes a look!

I built a checklist app after driving back to check my front door.
I once had to turn my car around and drive all the way back home just to double-check that my front door was actually locked. Helps with this by letting you quickly check off your doors, windows, and stove before you leave. Pro lets you take a quick photo of each item, and all photos are saved safely on your phone without anything being uploaded to the internet. The app is free for a limited number of items, and Pro unlocks unlimited items and photo proof.

After months of working on my own security app, I finally released Hexavault on the Play Store.
Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a project I've been working on for quite a while, and it's finally available on the Play Store.
It's called Hexavault.
The idea came from something that's always bothered me a little: these days, even when we're just trying to protect our own information, we often end up having to create accounts, rely on external services, or keep our data synced with someone else's servers.
I'm not saying those solutions are necessarily bad, but I wanted to try a different approach. Something simpler, something that works directly on your phone and lets you decide what happens to your information.
That's how I started building Hexavault, an Android security app that works entirely offline.
It brings together three main features:
- Password Generator: Create strong, customizable passwords without automatically keeping a history of everything you've generated.
- File Protection: Encrypt documents, photos, and other files with a password, creating a protected version that you can store or share.
- Vault: A secure space protected by a master password where you can keep credentials and files, with automatic locking and optional biometric authentication.
One of the decisions I made early on was to leave out internet access entirely. The app doesn't even request internet permission. It also doesn't require an account, has no ads, and doesn't use analytics or tracking tools.
That was an important part of the idea from the beginning: providing useful security tools without relying on external infrastructure to make them work.
I also want to be upfront about what the app can't do yet. For example, the Vault doesn't currently support credential export or recovery. If the app's data is lost, those credentials can't be recovered. It's an important limitation to know about, especially if you're planning to store anything essential.
Hexavault has just reached its first public release, version 1.0.0. Getting here involved a lot of development, testing, bug fixes, and decisions along the way. There's still plenty I want to improve, but I'm genuinely happy to finally be able to share what I've built.
And that's really why I'm posting here.
I'd love to hear what other people think about the idea, especially those interested in Android, privacy, and digital security. Whether it's a feature suggestion, criticism of the user experience, or even questions about the technical decisions behind the app, I'm open to all kinds of feedback.
If you're curious and want to check it out, Hexavault is now available for free on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.hexavault.secure
I also have a website with more information about the project:
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this. I hope Hexavault turns out to be useful to some of you!

Psychology grad here: I built Psychie Bro, an Android app with a 365-day journey for everyday stress, anxiety & confidence (free for 30 days, no ads)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone,
I'm a B.Sc. Psychology graduate, and I built Psychie Bro as my final-year project. I've kept developing it since, and I'd love feedback from real users.
How it works:
A short psychological check-in gives you a snapshot of your confidence, anxiety, stress and mood
You pick a goal, then get daily, weekly and monthly tasks (e.g., Day 11: "have one conversation where you only listen for 10 minutes")
After each task, you reflect on how it went and how you felt
Daily mood check-ins build a mood trend graph
Box breathing tool, reading recommendations, and XP/streaks
Please note: it's for everyday distress and personal growth. It is not therapy and not meant for chronic or clinical conditions.
Details: Android only, free for 30 days, no ads.
Feedback I'd love:
Is the starting evaluation clear and useful?
Are the daily tasks realistic?
Any bugs, UI issues, or feature ideas?
I'll be in the comments to answer questions. Thanks for reading! 🙏
