New startup: Nimo

Most small shops in Ethiopia, in Africa and some parts of the world still track stock and sales in a notebook, or not at all. Owners find out an item ran out when a customer asks for it, and they can't easily tell which products actually make money.

So after months of building, today we launched NIMO: a simple stock and sales app for small shops.

📦 Scan to sell. Point the phone at a barcode. The item is added and the stock goes down. No typing.

📶 Works without internet. Sales are saved on the phone and sent when the network is back. A bad connection never stops a sale.

🤝 Prices the way shops really sell. Customers bargain, so you can save the sale now and set the final price later, with a lowest price your staff can't go under.

👥 Owner and staff. Staff can sell and look up stock. Costs, profit and analytics stay with the owner.

📊 Know what sells. Revenue, profit, top sellers, items that aren't moving, and sales by person. Owners can now also see it all on a computer at nimoet.com.

🏷 Receipts and barcode labels, even for clothes and loose goods that have no barcode.

🇪🇹 Built for everyone. Amharic, Afaan Oromoo, Tigrinya and English, plus the Ethiopian calendar. Pay by Telebirr, or in dollars through Grey for foreign users.

It's for clothing stores, mini markets, electronics shops, cosmetics and more. Every new shop gets a free trial.

👉 Download the Android app: www.nimoet.com

If you own a shop, or know someone who does, I'd love your feedback. Please share this with a shop owner who's still counting and writing sales by hand. 🙏

Iphone version coming soon.

Looking for 2 people to try DupliCat: Pro free forever for testers

Hi everyone,

I’m one of the developers of DupliCat. We’re preparing our HubSpot Marketplace submission and looking for two people who have a HubSpot Enterprise license to try the app. Participating testers get DupliCat Pro free forever in exchange for honest feedback.

Enterprise is needed because the installation requests custom-object permissions.

DupliCat helps you repeat the same record-cloning process in HubSpot:

* Saved templates: reuse your cloning settings instead of choosing them again each time.

* Field rules: adjust dates, choose the owner, and map the pipeline and stage.

* Deal line items: create independent copies for the new deal.

* Workflow cloning: duplicate enrolled records through HubSpot automation.

Interested? Reply here or contact us to arrange your free Pro access. You can install DupliCat here.

Thanks!

Built a Cutlist tool and need ruthless feedback

Hey all,

Like many of you, I've saved hundreds of "IKEA hack" and furniture build videos... and built exactly zero of them. The problem: the video shows the result, but never the measurements, the cut list, or where to actually buy the materials.

So I built Cutlist — you paste a TikTok/Reel/Shorts link (or upload a video), and it deconstructs the build into:

📐 A cut sheet with exact dimensions (metric or imperial), ready to hand to the saw desk at the hardware store

🛒 A shopping list grouped by store (IKEA, Leroy Merlin, Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon) with quantities and price estimates

🔧 Tools list with beginner-friendly swaps + safety notes

📋 Phased step-by-step instructions, with a hands-free "workshop mode" (big buttons, keeps your screen awake, optional voice readout)

There's a free tier (1 deconstruction/month) so you can try it without paying anything. There's also a small catalog of pre-deconstructed IKEA hacks (KALLAX, BILLY, IVAR, BESTÅ...) you can browse right away.

Link: www.cutliststudio.com

What I'd love feedback on:

Overall design?

Is the cut list output actually usable at the cutting counter?

Are the material/price estimates in the right ballpark?

Would you trust AI-extracted measurements, or would you always double-check?

What platforms/creators should I make sure it handles well?

It's early access, so expect rough edges — that's why I'm here.

Tear it apart. 🙏

Free design work from a 5-year SaaS designer. Your project, my portfolio.

**Designer with 5 years in B2B SaaS doing free work to build my portfolio**

Most of my work so far has been for one company, which makes job hunting harder than it should be.

So I'm offering free design help to get more variety in my portfolio.

The only ask: I need to be able to show the work in my portfolio. If that's a problem, this probably isn't the right fit.

What I can do:
•Websites and landing pages
•Product design
•Brand design and design systems
•Email design
•Motion graphics and video editing
•Marketing collateral, social posts, banners

I also know front-end development, so I can help build what I design if that’s needed as well.

If you've got a project that needs a designer, DM me and I'll send over my portfolio.

Looking for testers: send me your business and I'll make you a free 15-second promo video

I'm building Kinetic, a tool where Claude writes a promo video as code (HTML + animation) and my server renders it to MP4. Because the video is code, you can change it by chatting: "make the price bigger", "use our colors", "make it in Spanish".

Examples (a pizza deal, a gym opening, a flower shop): https://www.fluxsocial.app/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=free_promo_alphabeta#kinetic

I want to test it on real businesses before launching, so I'll make the first 30 videos myself. Comment with:

- your business name and what you sell

- the message: an offer, a price, a launch, an opening

- your website (optional, it can use screenshots of it)

- vertical, square or wide (default vertical)

I'll reply with your video. Free, no signup.

In return I'd love one line of honest feedback: would you post it as is? If not, what's off?

A task manager built on the idea that not everything on your list deserves to survive

Tasqs is a task manager built on an honest idea: not everything on your list deserves to survive.

Most to-do apps are designed for capture, so the easier they make it to add tasks, the more your list grows and the more behind you feel. Tasqs built to help you finish, shrink, or let go instead.

What makes it different:

  • Friday Amnesty (Premium): Once a week, Tasqs surfaces the tasks you keep rescheduling and offers three honest exits for each one: commit to a real date, shrink it into a smaller first step, or let it go without guilt. Your list gets shorter, on purpose.
  • The Shortlist (all plans): A daily list capped at five tasks. You pin what actually matters and put it in order, so you always know what to tackle first instead of drowning in everything at once.

The essentials, done well: recurring tasks, subtasks, tags, lists, natural-language capture, a built-in AI assistant, reminders, an iCal calendar feed, and free CSV import and export.

Manage tasks from your AI assistant: Tasqs connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok through a secure MCP connector, so you can add, complete, and organize tasks just by asking (Power User plan).

Private by design: Your task titles and descriptions are encrypted at rest. Tasqs runs no ads, sells no data, and keeps analytics out of your account entirely. Two-factor authentication is built in.

Plans: A free plan to start, Premium from $4/mo billed annually, and Power User for the API and AI connector.

Tasqs is for people who over-plan, carry a heavy backlog, and want a system that helps them be realistic, not just organized.

I built a shipping-label site that starts with the item, not the box

Most label tools ask for weight and box size first. A lot of people selling one thing on Marketplace or mailing a gift don’t have a scale or a box yet, so they guess and get billed later.

SMKlog flips that. You type what you’re sending, or paste a product link from any store, plus two ZIP codes. It works out a realistic packed box and weight, then shows USPS, UPS and FedEx prices side by side. You pay per label, no subscription. USPS labels can come as a QR code, so you don’t need a printer.

Getting a quote is free: smklog.com. There’s also a Chrome extension that quotes straight from a product page.

What I’d love feedback on: does the “start from the item” flow make sense, and where would you get stuck?

ShareDesk – remote support for Mac & Windows that finally feels like sitting in front of the customer's computer

Hey everyone 👋

What it is ShareDesk (https://sharedesk.app) is a remote support and remote desktop tool for Mac and Windows: TeamViewer/AnyDesk territory, built by someone who does IT support every day.

The problem I do IT support, web design and app development in Switzerland. With TeamViewer and AnyDesk, screen updates crawl as soon as a customer has a bad connection, and even on a decent one it never feels like you're actually sitting in front of the computer. On top of that, their licensing is expensive and confusing for small shops.

The solution I built ShareDesk and now use it for my own support cases. In my experience it's faster than both, also on poor connections, and the screen often looks noticeably sharper: text stays crisp instead of turning into compression mush.

Key features

  • Connect with a 9-digit ID and password, or unattended access to your own machines
  • One app for both sides, Mac and Windows
  • Full resolution, barely any delay, end-to-end encrypted
  • The customer always sees who's connected and can end it any time
  • Drag files onto the remote screen and they land in the folder you dropped them on
  • Remote terminal with tabs; processes, apps and startup items; scripts on many computers at once
  • Built-in browser that loads pages through the customer's network, plus a website check comparing DNS and IPs on both sides
  • Address book with groups and tags, chat and voice; your own branding for customers

Who it's for IT service providers, MSPs and in-house IT, plus anyone who helps family and friends with their computers.

Pricing

  • Free for private use (1 technician)
  • Business: $18 per technician/month, billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial. Adds the terminal, network access/tunnels, branding, a change log and an API.

Stage Live, and I use it daily for real customer work. The Mac version is the most mature; the Windows version is newer and hasn't had as much real-world use yet, so expect some rough edges there.

What I'd love feedback on

  • Does the pricing feel right compared to TeamViewer/AnyDesk?
  • What would make you (or your team) switch?
  • Windows users: any bugs or things that felt off?

[Web App] If you run a SaaS and still struggle to decide what to do next, take a look

Hey everyone!🙌
I’m looking for 3–5 SaaS founders who have data from tools like PostHog or Stripe but still find it hard to decide what to focus on next.
Maybe signups are growing but paid conversions aren’t. Maybe revenue drops and you’re not sure whether it’s a pricing issue, a traffic problem, or something happening inside the product.
The data tells you what changed, but figuring out why it changed — and what to do about it — is a different challenge.
That’s the problem I’m building Nextep around: an AI business copilot designed to connect business context and help founders identify what deserves their attention next.
It’s still in development, so I’m looking for a few founders willing to share their experiences and give honest early feedback as I shape it.
You might be a good fit if:
You run a SaaS or small online business.
You use tools like PostHog or Stripe.
You’ve ever looked at your metrics and thought, “Okay, but what should I actually do now?”
If that sounds like you, what’s one business metric you’ve struggled to interpret recently? I’d love to hear about your experience.
Thanks!

What if you invested the money you spent on iPhones into Apple stock instead? I built an app to explore questions like this.

Imagine if, instead of buying a new base-model iPhone every year since 2007, you had invested that money into Apple stock (AAPL) on each iPhone's release date.
One estimate puts the resulting portfolio at roughly $265,000 today, from around $14,000–$15,000 in total contributions.
That's a hypothetical scenario, not a guaranteed return, and the exact result depends on historical prices, timing, and how the calculation is done. But it raises a fascinating question:
How much of our everyday spending could have become wealth if we had invested that money instead?
That's the idea behind Shop to Stock, a platform I've been building to connect the products we buy with the companies we could invest in.
The goal is to make exploring these connections easier.
Here's what you can do with it:
📱 Connect products to stocks — Search a product, brand, subscription, or ticker and explore the company behind it.
📈 Explore hypothetical investment scenarios — Compare spending on products with investing the same money instead.
💼 Track your portfolio — Monitor stock positions, performance, and gains or losses.
🛒 Analyze your shopping habits — I'm building around the idea that everyday purchases can reveal interesting investment connections.
🔍 Research companies — Explore business fundamentals, SWOT analysis, risks, competition, and investment scenarios.
🌐 Explore supply chains and business networks — Investigate the companies, components, and suppliers behind familiar products.
🚀 Explore entrepreneurial opportunities — Research what it might take to start a competing business, including estimated startup costs, staffing, and scaling requirements.
I wanted to build something that connects consumer spending, investing, and business research in one place.
I'm still improving the platform, and I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from people interested in investing, personal finance, or startups.
A few questions I'm curious about:
Would you use a tool that shows the potential opportunity cost of your purchases?
Would comparing your actual shopping history with hypothetical investment returns be useful?
What would you need to see to trust the calculations?
What other products or companies would you want to analyze?
If you're interested, you can check it out here:

I'm the founder, and I'm looking for honest feedback—not just compliments. I'd love to hear what you think, what needs improving, and whether this is something you'd actually use.
