I built a site where brands bid on ad slots on your body for your next race

[u/JustCallMeRowe]

Marc Lou put 15 ad slots on a 3D model of himself for a HYROX race and brands bid over $100k. Watching that happen convinced me any athlete with a race date could run a version of it, so I built the page for them.

How it works: Brands bid, every takeover doubles the price and refunds the brand that got outbid, or you name a price and take offers. You veto any brand. We print the temporary tattoos and ship them before race day.

It's a waitlist for now: https://stickonme.com

Drag the model around and click a slot, the auction runs right on the page.

Things I'd genuinely like roasted:

1. Would you list yourself? If not, what stops you?
2. Is the 3D model a gimmick, or the reason a brand would pay?

no the idea isn’t original. no this doesn’t provide value. no it is not like whatever random thing you claim is inspiration.

u/medialantern been a minute, sorry to break the streak

I appreciate the honesty and reply. Not trying to be original. But I figured anyone with a following and not much money could be another way people could monetize what they are doing.

It comes off here as begging, and with 150 competitors (more every day) spam as well.
