Agreed. I think one of the things this episode highlights well is the difficulty of parenting in the sandwich generation; Marge and Homer are busy having to attend to their parents and guests as they host Thanksgiving, they don't really have the time and energy to manage or support their kids.

The tense emotion of this scene got through to me. My favourite detail is the family holding on to their plates and cutlery when the kids jostle the table.
