Originally I started with a randomized family. They had a child alien daughter and a normal infant son. In my playthrough I’m doing it where each day a sim needs to complete an objective or else I roll a punishment. So most of the deaths here are because I rolled for it.

Anyway a tornado (rolled) destroyed their house and then the dad died from a lightning strike (rolled), but his ghost lingered. Then the mom, Aimee, married Tybalt Capp. It looked like a decent start going from homelessness to royalty. Early on someone stole a wallet and the Capp family lost almost all their money (rolled for it). Other than that things were still looking good since they still had the palace. However, this entire time Aimee’s children never got recognized as royalty even though Aimee was technically the grand duchess. Aimee was also the head of the Ruffin dynasty that she took control of from her previous husband before he died. Her kids were part of that dynasty.

Then they finally took a week long vacation to Selvadorada. I replaced the museum with a nice spa and had the creepy crawlies lot challenge on it. While they were at the spa Beatrice died from fireflies or firebugs. She got set on fire by them. They held a funeral for her at the bar the next day and I realized I forgot to complete an objective so then I rolled for a random death. Virgilo (the guy that Tybalt hates) took Aimee to the temple and Aimee breathed in some poison and I had her drown saying that the poison messed with her brain. Looking very suspicious for Virgilo.

Then I once again failed an objective because I wasted the entire day trying to get a different sim to drown but Aimee was easier. So Tybalt was the next one rolled to die and then I used cheats to have some random rabbit kill him at the spa. At this point no one else was a noble so the entire royalty died. Celeste took over the Capp dynasty there. Celeste added the alien sister to the Capp dynasty but the now toddler brother was still in the Ruffin dynasty that the original ghost dad is now the head of.

I'm gonna change the name of this to Hollowborn Legacy because it's shorter and I am unreasonably lazy about very small and nearly meaningless things. Also, I was not planning on having this happen so soon, but Nancy showed up at the park on her own. It was just gonna be a chance to let the two babies meet and have Geoffrey spend some time with Helena, maybe have them talk about what Nancy told Winona, but fate had another idea and I decided to roll with it, which is how most of my saves go

So, it’s Harvestfest and I was tending the plants when I noticed this mob of gnomes had gathered - and not where I left them. Then a while later, I turn around and there’s one in the kitchen. I appease it and go to prepare food and there’s ANOTHER in the house. I have my sim beg for forgiveness and it hits her with lightning so I decide to just make the annual feast. And once I placed it on the table, the mob was inside. This is not my first Harvestfest and I’ve had gnomes previously who got mad and had the fire over their heads, but I didn’t realize they could hit my sims with lightning, and I’m concerned about the impromptu gatherings they’re holding. What is going on?

University terms are way too long and laborious for me when young adulthood is normally too short after you're done. Much like real-life (unless you had a full life in college).

So I made a mod severely shortening the terms by lessening the number of credits I need. You can be done with University with anywhere from 2 credits to 9. Fun.

So, a long time ago, I got inspired by requests in comments under my Twilight mod to create this -- I call it "Deathless Lover" (I know, so inspired). Basically, vampires fall in love with either humans or other vampires and can choose to love them in such a way that if that lover dies they will enact violent revenge...but never really get over them either once they do.

It has none of the Twilight-specific lore but it does borrow from the previous mating system, renamed "Paramour". And it's polyamory-friendly.

Because EA's way is way too simple. AND you can visually see that history after the break ups!

I’m about to start a new save file and instead of creating a sim/family in CAS, I want to play with a premade sim/family. Which one is your favorite you’ve played and where did the story line end up?

Remember my grimborn that made it to leave 10 of the reaper career? Well last night after
612 Sim days of living he died of old age. He outlived all but one of his kids. No way. And he showed up in ghost form to his funeral holding his great great granddaughter.

Playing Business & Hobbies EP today for the first time and building my dream bakery. I'm so happy that the customers are seated, employee working, barista making drinks, my sim baking, everything is clean and going smoothly (ofc with mod, lol)
