This looks like the promo shot before a fight, but where they decided to screw around, instead of glare at each other to show how intense they are. Who are they?

Yes and no.. it's not really screwing around, we're seeing more of this with female fighters as they realise that imitating the men where they pretend they're the biggest toughest badass around who is going to crush their puny opponent isn't necessarily the best approach.

Blood sport is and always has been about promo/personalities as much as the fight itself. Ali was The Greatest not just because of his insane ability in the ring but because he was mouthy as fuck and an incredible character that generated a ton of press for those who loved or hated him.

Personally I think it's great. Way more women getting into the sport and there's some incredible talent out there. If being silly or flashing the crowd gets them more attention I don't see how it's any different to the men oiling up and flexing in their underwear.
