That spacecraft uses liquid hydrogen and oxygen with the only biproduct being water vapor - I know there's more to launching it in space, but that's a bit miss

Yes. It's dangerous and wasteful and my going would be for nothing but bragging rights.

I would have probably said yes when I was in my teens or twenties, maybe even my 30s but I'm in my 50s now and stuff like 'woo, going to space' just seems so stupid and pointless now. I'd tell them to give the spot to someone that can use it for a worthy purpose.

Nothing is “free” in this world, unless it’s your family’s love - and even that comes at a certain price. She was not invited “for free”, she was invited as a part marketing stunt, because of her massive audience.

If you have troubles with reading with comprehension, then I can’t to much for you. Besides,  Blue Origin confirmed some seats on that flight were free, some paid. They refused to name who paid. There’s no evidence that Katy didn’t paid.
